The ancient town is not big, and it takes only half an hour to visit. If you like the hustle and bustle, you will definitely like the Nanxun Ancient Town, which is 10 kilometers away from Zhengze. If you prefer a quiet stroll, then come to Zhengze, with its whitewashed walls and black tiles, and almost zero commercialization. 🔸Local children play hide and seek, and the riverside teahouse is occupied by a few tourists and local elders, sipping tea, chatting, and enjoying the slow pace of life. 💰Ancient town ticket: Free 🚉Transportation strategy: Self-driving is recommended, parking is free 📸Tour route: You can refer to: Baota Street → Shijian Hall → Ciyun Temple Pagoda → Yuji Bridge → Wenchang Pavilion → Ditang River (just follow the river for a round trip) ‼️Zhengze Ancient Town is very small, one street is the whole town, and if you eat and stroll along the main street, Baota Street, half a day is enough~ But if you just walk through, you might not even need half an hour😶so I don't recommend arranging accommodation haha 🍜Food: 🔸Ren Changshun: A traditional time-honored brand, featured on 'A Bite of China', sticky and delicious. 🔸Lao Yan Noodle House: Suzhou-style noodle house 🔸Siwan Tea House: The town's special tea, I don't really understand the taste. It's more about the atmosphere. 🔸Because the ancient town is really small, we took a detour to check in at the Zhengze internet-famous shop, Su Xiaohua, on the way back. It's a concept of a field meal bar. The decoration is quite beautiful, and it's very nice when the flowers bloom in spring. The price is a bit expensive, the dishes are served slowly, but the taste is okay. Outdoor seating is available for those with small dogs. You can use this as a reference based on your time and interests haha

It's a very quiet little town, especially quiet Walking around here alone, you can best experience the unique charm of the Jiangnan region! I made a special effort to go early in the morning, when there were very few people and the scenery was incredibly beautiful, exceeding expectations!! Facing south with its back to the north, it is surrounded by water on three sides, with the Ditang Canal to the south, the Xieqiao River to the west, and the Ouhu River to the north. It integrates a river port, inn, shops, streets, halls, inner quarters, gardens, and servant quarters, creating a residence that includes a street. This grand residence reflects the characteristics of the late Qing Dynasty's merchant gentry era and local features. 🌟 Ciyun Temple Located on Baota Street in Zhensze Town, this brick and wood eaves pagoda-style tower has withstood the test of time and still stands elegantly. The tower's exterior is hexagonal with five levels, consisting of a corridor, tower walls, and a core. During the Spring Festival, it's hard to find a seat in the riverside teahouses, and having tea and meals is a unique scene. Paired with the light pink Dingsheng cake, which is soft and fragrant with a sweet bean paste filling, it symbolizes good luck for the New Year. Also, don't miss the black bean curd, glossy and black, salty and sweet, the more you chew, the tastier it gets, another must-try local delicacy of Zhensze.
