The old site of the British Consulate in Zhenjiang is located on the 53rd slope of the West Jin Ferry Ancient Street in Zhenjiang City, and is now the Zhenjiang Museum. During the Second War in 1858, the Qing government was forced to sign the Sino-British Tianjin Treaty with Britain, and Zhenjiang was opened as a commercial port.
