[2025 Zhongmu Stay] Travel Guide for Zhengzhou Haichang Ocean Park Resort Hotel (Updated Mar)

The third stop of the winter vacation, the whole family drove to Zhengzhou! I caught up with the Henan Cultural Tourism Consumption Coupon, and the tickets and hotels were super cost-effective. The outdoor + indoor activities were not cold either. I participated in a one-day New Year 🧨 event, which was definitely worth the ticket price! Visits to various marine life + theater performances + float parades + gods greeting the New Year + amusement projects + iron flower performances, play from morning to night, and I have compiled a guide for your reference! 🎫Tickets: Full-day tickets/night tickets during the Spring Festival 🏨Hotels: Zhengzhou Haichang has 2 parent-child hotels, one with Ultraman theme and one with ocean theme. We stayed at Zhengzhou Haichang Ocean Park Resort Hotel this time. You can see the Ferris wheel while lying on the bed🎡, 2 large beds + 1 bunk bed. The room is full of childishness. You can enter the park directly after breakfast, and you can enter and exit as many times as you want. It is super friendly to children! 💟Travel tips: Get a park map and New Year activity schedule from the service center at the entrance before entering the park to facilitate route selection. 🎭Must-see performances: (Specific performance time is subject to the gzh of the day) 1️⃣Dolphin Fantasy Show (10:30-Dolphin Show) 25-minute large-scale performance, dolphins and New Year themes, very shocking! 2️⃣Dragon Palace Dances in the Sea (11:00-Wonderful Oceanarium) The mermaid show was so good, and the scene when the white snake and the green snake came out was so beautiful! 3️⃣Lion Dance to Welcome the Spring Festival Face Changing Show (11:30-Hailang Stage) The kids had a lot of fun interacting with the lion dance! 4️⃣ Yingge War Dance Welcomes the Golden Era (12:30-Dream Square) Very lively folk performance! 5️⃣ Cute marine pets wishing you a happy new year (13:50-Polar Square) Highly recommended! There are so many NPCs, and the kids are very cooperative when taking photos with them! 6️⃣Ocean Mecha Parade (14:30-Whole Park) Float parade, thousands of immortals celebrating the New Year, very festive! 7️⃣Dr. Sea Lion starts to talk (16:00-Happy Theater) The popular science story of sea lions! 8️⃣Sea Beasts Comedy Show (17:30-Happy Theater) Sea beasts show, children will like it more! 9️⃣Xianle Chaoyin New Year*Iron Flower Show (20:00-Xinghai Camp) 45 minutes of disco, full of excitement, and finally iron flower show + dragon dance performance. 🎡Amusement facilities: In addition to the performances mentioned above, there are also more than a dozen amusement facilities outdoors, such as the Ferris wheel, pirate ship, pendulum, etc. When there are no performances, go and play the attractions! 🔺Tips: ✔️We went there on the third day of the Lunar New Year. The temperature was good, so it was okay to wear a down jacket, but you must wear a hat ✔️Bring a thermos cup, as there are many places in the park that provide hot water ✔️There is a special Ultraman theme hall, theme restaurant, and theme hotel. Bring your kids on a light-chasing trip After a day, I felt that Zhengzhou Haichang’s New Year event this year was a sure win💕! There are also "Only Henan", "Jianye Town" and "Zhengzhou Fantawild" nearby, where you can spend 3 to 4 days playing in Zhongmu!

1️⃣ Zhengzhou Haichang Ocean Park is located in Zhongmu County between Zhengzhou City and Kaifeng City. Self-driving is recommended. There are nearby attractions such as Only Henan, Jianye Movie Town, Fantawild Dreamland, and Outlets. You can spend two or three days playing together. There are six main pavilions, with amusement facilities in the middle, including the Zhengzhou Eye Ferris Wheel. The pavilions are air-conditioned, but you need to go outdoors between them. The amusement facilities are also outdoors, and you need to queue up on holidays. It's not very friendly in hot weather🔥 2️⃣ After entering the park, take a paper map on the right-hand side. From right to left, Dream Jellyfish Pavilion - Wonderful Ocean Pavilion - Dolphin Show Field - Polar Animal Pavilion - Happy Theater - South Pole Penguin Pavilion. You can watch them in order without going back. You can check the show times on the Princess account. It is recommended to queue up at least half an hour in advance to get a good seat. The shows usually last about 10 minutes. 3️⃣ Must-see attractions: Must-see attractions 🧜 Wonderful Ocean Pavilion, the popular mermaid show is here. 🐳 Polar Animal Pavilion, the highlight is the beluga music show 🐧 South Pole Penguin Pavilion, you can see cute South Pole penguins. The lights will be turned off after 2:30 pm, so it is recommended to go as early as possible. There is also a fun 4D movie in the nearby pavilion, which is immersive and very interesting~ 🐬 Dolphin Show Field, the Dolphin Fantasy Show is a must-see!!! One show is worth the ticket price!!! I personally think it's the best show in the whole park, so be sure to go early 🐟 Happy Theater, Sea Animal Comedy Show, Top 3 Must-See in the Park!! | Taking kids to Haichang Park for Ultraman star-chasing check-in. If you have a child who loves Ultraman, take advantage of the warm spring weekend to go star-chasing. Transportation: Take the high-speed train to Zhengzhou East Station, then take a taxi for about 30 minutes to get there. The Heroic Legend Courtyard Family Room has a children's bed with stairs that they can climb up and down, and a small courtyard that's perfect for kids to play with bubble machines. Upon check-in, we received an Ultraman doll pillow, which my child hugged while sleeping and looked for first thing upon waking up. The entire room is filled with Ultraman elements, making it very child-friendly. We also received game tokens and coupons, as well as an Ultraman electric card to take home. Personally, I liked the hotel's bag more, which is a light blue cartoon version of Ultraman. The hotel provides unlimited face-scan entry tickets to the park, and during the spring outing rush, you can enter more quickly through the entrance channel in the Haichang Ocean Park Resort Hotel. Additionally, if it rains, you can rent an umbrella from the hotel, which is also Ultraman-themed and very attractive. Many people asked if they could buy it, but the Ultraman raincoat we bought for the child was also very nice. Ultraman Ice Theater: We watched the 4:40 show. The hotel concierge sent me the park's program schedule and performance times. By around 4:00, there were already many people in line. We managed to get seats in the second row; the front rows were seated on the ground, and the last two rows had chairs, which might offer a clearer view, but kids prefer the atmosphere of sitting on the ground closer to Ultraman. Entry starts at 4:10. We received capes, masks, and cheering sticks, which the kids loved and wore during the performance. The show lasted about half an hour, with interactive questions in the middle. Before the show, they sold photo opportunities with Ultraman for 168 yuan, allowing you to take pictures with three heroes. We were the first to buy, so our child was the first to take a photo with Ultraman, making her very happy. I recommend buying early if you want photos so you can take them sooner. My child liked both photos she took but could only choose one. I wish we could select more, but luckily, I took photos and videos from below while she was on stage, so we got the pictures and videos we wanted. I hope I can stick to my original intention of being a parent who doesn't spoil the fun and enjoys the world with my child.
