Trip to Zhashui Karst Cave (part 2)
Location: Zhashui Karst Cave, Shangluo, Shaanxi, China
Tour fee: ~ 230¥
Date: May 1, 2022
As you know we went to this cave with a tour agency, because it’s very far from Xi’an.
When we got there, the administration of the area told us that they would like to take videos and photos of us (they wanted to use this for advertisement), and instead they would provide all inclusive service for free. Can you imagine how happy and surprised we were?
First we went through the tunnel and then this wonderful scenery opened in front of us.
There was a glass bridge, which was so amazing. It was the first time I was standing on it, so I had different feelings. As it wasn’t so long and high, I wasn’t afraid, only a bit))
If you have acrophobia (a fear of heights), don’t be afraid and walk on the bridge. This will help you overcome your fear. When you look around and see stunning nature, all your fear escapes:)

Trip to Zhashui Carst Cave (part 3)

Tour fee: ~ 230¥

The next thing that you need to do here is to walk on the rope bridge and look around. (We went through a small colorful tunnel, took the elevator and got to this great place.)
When I was walking on it, it seemed endless.😂
It was very long and all the time I was holding the rope with my hands (as I had a fear of high places). When I reached to the end, I couldn’t feel my arms.
All in all it was great. I just wanted to avoid my fear, and maybe 30% I succeeded.
If you want to get some adrenaline and enjoy this view, then this is the best place for you. Don’t hesitate to go there.

Zhashui Karst Cave is about 80km far from Xi’an. As it’s far from Xi’an city, you need to take a taxi or go there with a tour agency. We chose the 2nd one and it was a great idea. I went there with my friends:)
For the tour we paid about 230¥, which included 2 scenic area’s entrance tickets, the elevator’s ticket and the tour from Xian to Shangluo.
This Cave was so stunning. The colorful lights made the cave more and more remarkable. The workers were telling us interesting stories about the cave, but everything was in Chinese. Luckily one of my friends’ Chinese was better than mine, so she was translating for us:)
When you go out from the cave, you can see the Buddha statue, which is just amazing.
