🌟 Dana Monastery, at an altitude of 4,500 meters, is the world's most complete existing Gesar stupa monastery. "Dana Sengge Nanzong" means "Lion Fortress with Horse Ears," named after the mountain that resembles a lion and rocks that look like horse ears (top of image 3). The stupas are all in the Ganden style, the largest "group stupas" in the Tibetan style in the Qinghai-Tibet region. They are built in the late Tang dynasty Tibetan style and architectural art, and are listed as a national key cultural relic protection unit. The stupas are located halfway up the Ma'er Mountain, with steep and difficult roads and high altitude.
