[All over Japan] Spectacular winter scenery: "Japan's Top 3 Ice Trees + α"
[Zao Onsen Ski Resort]
Address: Zao Onsen, Yamagata City, Yamagata Prefecture
Parking: Yes, free
This is the only one of the three where you can ride the gondola over the frost-covered trees, so you can see a wide range of them✨
It's easier to get close to the frost-covered trees while wearing skis or a snowboard👍
⋈ ・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・ ⋈
[Moriyoshiyama Ani Ski Resort]
Address: 79-5 Kaginotaki, Ani, Kitaakita, Akita Prefecture
Parking: Yes, free
The wait time for the gondola isn't that long, so it's a ski resort that both skiers and tourists can enjoy smoothly💡
The frost-covered area has a slope, so if you're going to walk around, it's a good idea to bring winter mountain climbing equipment such as walking sticks😊
⋈ ・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・ ⋈
[Hakkoda Ropeway]
Address: 1-12 Kansuizawa, Arakawa, Aomori City
Parking: Yes, free
It's such a popular spot that the ropeway is often out of service, and even when it is operational, there can be a wait of up to 2 hours❗
You can ski down the side of the frost-covered trees as you go down the mountain, so if you can ski or snowboard, I recommend it🏂However, it's an un-groomed mountain with some steep slopes, so it's only for those who can ski in those places without any problems💡
⋈ ・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・ ⋈
【Ski Jam Katsuyama】
Address: 170-70 Yoshino, Katsuyama City, Fukui Prefecture
Parking: Available
The largest snow resort in western Japan with a longest run of 5,800m that even beginners can enjoy with peace of mind🏔️
This is not one of the three biggest frost-covered trees in Japan, but if you're within the lift range and the timing is right, you can see the frost-covered trees, so try looking for them😊
⋈ ・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・ ⋈
That's it, a spectacular view that can only be seen in winter❗
Come and see it🎵
