Beihai|The joy of visiting Weizhou Island during the off-season
Avoiding the noisy crowds, it was really a wise decision for me to go to the island in the off-season. This time we chose a slow-paced vacation mode 🏖️We had a five-day and four-night experience as an islander on Weizhou Island 🏝️We chose the "Yue Hai Ting" Hotel, which is close to the pier and has new decoration and various hardware facilities.

If the weather is good, you can also enjoy a private hot spring on the sea-view balcony while watching the sunset. The scene is really dreamy (unfortunately, the weather was not good, and it was windy for the past two days [Sigh]). Maybe you always have to leave some regrets, so that you can have an excuse to come again next time.
The room we stayed in was very large, and we two girls didn't feel crowded even with our 30-inch luggage [Clap] We also received a fruit plate when we checked in🍊, very considerate
The bathroom is separated into dry and wet areas, very spacious, and has a smart toilet🚽
Breakfast is in the building where I checked in. If you like porridge, you should try their preserved egg and lean meat porridge. I really love it. [Like]
The hotel's own Yue Hai Xuan is one of the best restaurants on the island, and you can also have hot pot 🍲
The hotel also has a sunset restaurant. It is also a good choice to sit and dine leisurely on a sunny evening.
The check-in will include a shuttle to the pier, and the staff will help you arrange your luggage [GoodJob] It's really considerate

The hotel has whale watching projects that can be booked, and you can also rent a mini-tour around the island🚙
It is very close to the Blue Bridge. Many specialty coffee shops nearby can be reached on foot: Huandao Coffee and Chuyu Changfeng are both popular online shops that must be visited when visiting Weizhou Island.
Attractions such as "Spring and Summer Cliff Garden" and "Cactus Photo Frame" are also near the hotel, and it only takes ten minutes to ride a donkey🛵
You can arrange a day trip to "Crocodile Mountain Park", "Dishui Danping" and "Shiluokou", and then go to "Nanwan Street" for dinner in the evening, and have a drink before returning to the hotel💤
The small garden inside the "Catholic Church" is quite suitable for taking photos. I also picked up some "small scraps" on the "Shell Beach" as souvenirs. [Onlooker]

It was my first time on the island. Overall, the experience was pretty good. The only downside was that there were only two sunny days out of the five days we were on the island. I wanted to stay a few more days, but the weather was really bad. I can only leave these regrets for next time... After all, I still have many exciting projects that I haven't experienced yet. Next time I come, I want to be an islander once and for all...
