He was born in the second year of Chongning in the Northern Song Dynasty (1103) and was wrongfully executed in the 11th year of Shaoxing in the Southern Song Dynasty (1142). In the first year of Longxing (1163), he was exonerated. He was posthumously awarded the titles of King Wumu, King of E, and King Zhongwu.
