Yucun Scenic Area: A Poetic Home with Ancient Charm
Yucun Scenic Area, located at the foot of Mount Mogan in Deqing, is renowned for its rich historical culture and idyllic poetry. The cobblestone alleys crisscross, and the ancient Huizhou-style buildings are nestled among the green bamboo, as if transporting people back to the Jiangnan region a thousand years ago. The village preserves numerous historical relics, such as ancient temples, old houses, and stone bridges, which blend harmoniously with the surrounding landscape, creating a picturesque scene of unity between man and nature. Visitors can stroll through the village, not only experiencing the rustic countryside atmosphere but also participating in traditional crafts like tea ceremonies and bamboo weaving, immersing themselves in the charm of Jiangnan. With spring flowers, summer bamboo shadows, autumn and winter misty rain, the scenery varies with the seasons, offering both dynamic and tranquil beauty. Yucun Scenic Area is a paradise away from the bustling city, allowing people to temporarily escape the mundane world and regain inner peace.

I'd like to call it the New Zealand of Zhejiang!
Always restless at home! So I took a road trip to Moganshan with my family! It's only about a 2-hour drive from Shanghai!
️ Must-visit spot: Yucun
The first stop is Yucun! There are many coffee shops along the street, just walk around, take breaks, snap some photos, it's very leisurely and perfect for relaxation! Wash away the weariness of work!
Feed the white pigeons in the square~ A leisurely and artistic trip!
🍜Food guide: Goldfish Mama is a popular spot in Yucun, honestly, the chicken soup is really fresh, I still remember it vividly~~~
️ Must-visit spot: Sky Valley
The second stop is Sky Valley! Make sure to plan well before you go! That way you can enjoy all the attractions most efficiently! Playing from the top down can help avoid long queues!
You can take a sightseeing car (faster than the little train) into the park and pay 5 yuan to get directly to the cable car🚠! — No need to queue if you go to the cable car early! — After the cable car, you can go to the Sky Tower! If you're not afraid of heights, try the high-altitude walk. After coming down from the Sky Tower, you can slide down the slide🛝, though it's quite thrilling, I didn't try it!
Then comes my most recommended attraction! The Sky Skateboard! Slide from the top of the mountain all the way down! It's a great experience, very joyful, and you can scan a code to save the video or photo of your skateboard ride! The video seems to be 19.9 yuan (ps: no need to queue if you go early)
After coming down the mountain, you can also enjoy the Rainbow Slide, Sky Train, and other attractions. Suitable for both adults and children! Great for taking photos too! The Hobbit Village is especially photogenic!
There's not much to eat in the park! You can bring some snacks!
Return to Shanghai in the evening~ A weekend is enough~~ If you have time, you can visit Biwu Longtan, the scenery is really beautiful!
🚄Travel tips: Self-driving is recommended

Yuchun
A small town with the charm of the Republic of China. The great poet Du Fu of the Tang Dynasty once wrote: 'Yu Xin's articles are getting better with age, and his vigorous pen is full of ideas.' The 'Yu Xin' in the poem is a great literary scholar of the Northern and Southern Dynasties, and this literary lineage can be traced back to Yu Xin's ancestors. Yu Xin was born in a family that had 'seven generations of scholars' and 'five generations of anthologies'. He was a descendant of Yu Chan, a literary scholar of the Eastern Jin Dynasty. His grandfather, Yu Yi, was highly talented but chose to live in seclusion; his father, Yu Jianwu, once served in the Southern Liang Dynasty and was a famous literary scholar at the time. The Yu family once lived in this area, hence the name Yuchun Village.
