A complete review of Yomiuri Land
25 minutes from Shinjuku!
It's so easy to get to, and yet there's such a great amusement park! 🤩
You don't need to plan your visit like you would at Disney, but it's best to choose a day when it's not crowded!
Please use this as a reference and enjoy Yomiuri Land 😃
[Recommended points]
First of all, there are 44 attractions🫨
You can't ride them all in one day
From scary attractions like the Bandit roller coaster and bungee jumping to attractions for small children, it's fun for all ages, from adults to children, but the recommended area is "Good Joba" ⭐️
There are original attractions in collaboration with various companies here, and there are plenty of "only here!" 🎡
You can have a mysterious experience, such as riding on a cup of Yakisoba or riding Lipovitan D 😂
[Meals and rest]
In a word, no problem!
There are many types and locations, from udon, ramen, kebabs, burgers, etc. to churros and soft-serve ice cream, and some shops are indoors or have a roof, so you don't have to worry about the summer heat or sudden rain 😮💨
There's even a Starbucks!
Prices are not too high for amusement parks, with udon starting at 800 yen, so it's not a burden even if you come with your family.
*Please note that cans are prohibited from bringing drinks ⚠️
[Access]
You can get there from Shinjuku by Keio Line or Odakyu Line, but if you take the Odakyu Line you have to take a bus, so I recommend the Keio Line 👍
After getting off at Keio Yomiuriland Station on the Keio Line, go left through the ticket gate and climb the stairs to get on the gondola, which will take you to the entrance of Yomiuriland from the air!
"The gondola costs 300 yen one way, 500 yen round trip"
*You can also walk there, but it takes about 20 minutes uphill or up the stairs.
Things to note ⚠️
During the illumination season from December to January and during student holidays, the queues for the gondolas around closing time can be huge, so it's a good idea to leave early or prepare to wait, or walk to the station on your way back without buying a round-trip ticket!
If you're not with a stroller or a child who has just started walking, it's just a downhill slope and stairs, so you can go to the station as if you're taking a walk.
[Recommended season]
It goes without saying that weekdays are quiet, but what you should be careful of is when students are on holiday.
During the spring break season, it gets moderately crowded, mainly with junior high school students, even on weekdays.
So what are the best days to go on weekends? ?
That's right! Check the stage show schedule 👀
Many people come for the stage shows, so on days when there are no stage shows, it's quiet even on weekends.
And even on days when there are hero shows, there will be fewer people if you choose a day that isn't the popular "Precure", "Sentai", or "Rider" shows.
Be sure to check and decide on the day to go 😃
