Location: The location is very, very convenient. The hotel is a 10-minute drive from the city center, a 3-minute walk from the Port Future Subway Station, only 1km from JR Yamanote Station, and a 5-minute walk from JR Sakuragicho Train Station. It also provides frequent and convenient trains to downtown Tokyo. Scenery: The hotel is located at a height of 263 meters and overlooks the entire Yokohama, as if floating in the air. At night, the lights of vehicles shuttling on the road and the city buildings are all lit up. In the room, you can also see a huge Ferris wheel, flashing with colorful lights, immersed in the charming night. Room: Neat and clean, ordinary rooms of thirty to forty square meters are considered relatively spacious and comfortable in Japan.

I called and made a reservation to secure the window seats. It is worth it to be enjoying the panoramic views of Yokohama Bay and enjoying lunch at the same time. Did I mention that this restaurant is on the 68th floor. You can take their set lunch so it is less expensive. Their cuisine is fine dining Japanese cuisine, Kaiseki style food and their staff are lovely in their kimono dresses. Please order a Japanese beer/sake and cheers to Yokohama Bay. 🏨 💡Convenience: As I get older, I prioritize convenience when choosing a hotel. The more convenient, the better. 😉 📍First, the location is excellent. Yokohama Royal Park Hotel is located at the top of Yokohama Landmark Tower, from about the 50th to the 70th floor. 🧐 In the morning, you can have breakfast on the 70th floor, and then enjoy a cup of coffee or tea. This is a very enjoyable vacation mode. It's rare to have such a leisurely moment in fast-paced Japan. 😎 🚇The convenience of transportation is also worth mentioning. The hotel lobby on the first floor is connected to the shops in Landmark Plaza. When you go out, you will find yourself in a food street with many dessert shops. There is also a small pharmacy here. I was so happy to find the Elixir powder tube sunscreen that was out of stock in other large pharmacies. 😉 If you take the subway, you can walk to Minatomirai Station from inside the hotel, or walk in the opposite direction to Sakuragicho Station. Every day on the way back and forth, I look forward to walking through the elevated passage, because I can see the beautiful skyline, Ferris wheel 🎡, and cherry blossoms. Especially when I come back at night, the cherry blossoms are pink under the city lights, and the fatigue of the day disappears. 💕 If you want to go to the Red Brick Warehouse, just walk to Sakuragicho Station and take the small cable car. 🚡 What I find most considerate is that there is a luxury bus directly to Haneda or Narita Airport. The price and departure time are shown in the last picture. This is a great help to us, as we have six suitcases. We were originally thinking of using Yamato Transport to send our luggage. 🤣 💡Room/floor: I stayed at the Sky Resort Atelier on the 64th floor for five nights. What impressed me the most was the quietness. There are many rooms and guests. There was a Jay Chou concert that weekend, and some fans stayed here, but I couldn't hear any noise from outside in the room. This is much better than hotels in Tokyo. 😉 Secondly, the room is spacious and new, well-maintained, and the night view is beautiful. The public area is also very clean. 👍 I specifically asked for a room with a view of Mount Fuji, but the weather was always changing during these five days, and I never saw Mount Fuji. But it doesn't matter, the hotel's hardware facilities are already top-notch. 🤗 If it's not during the cherry blossom season, autumn leaves season, or peak season, the cost performance here is very high. 🤩 After all, no matter which attraction you go to in Yokohama, even if you take a taxi, the distance is only 3–5 km, which is very convenient.

I stayed at the Yokohama Royal Park Hotel, located on the upper floors of the Landmark Tower, a symbol of Yokohama. The view from the 64th floor is as follows!! Although it was forecasted to rain and there were some drizzles, I could see all the way to Chiba beyond the Bay Bridge. The last time I stayed, it was also raining, but the clouds were completely below, and I could hardly see anything. However, lying on the bed with the window full of clouds was also quite magical! ○ Amenities Coffee, tea, glasses, bottle opener, cooler, cleansing, face wash, lotion, emulsion, bath set (all L'Occitane), etc. ○ Other - Be careful as there is no freezer. → I bought ice cream and had it chilled at the front desk. - The elevators get very crowded around 4-5 PM in the evening and before checkout in the morning. It's best to avoid these times and plan accordingly. - The night view is spectacular! Enjoy it before midnight! → After midnight, some illuminations turn off, making it darker.

Only less than an hour by local train from Tokyo, you’ll be able to take a day trip if you don’t have much time. Yokohama is features the seaside which makes it more windy and rainy in a certain season. The vibe is just like the big city with a smaller size, featuring big China town with so many great food. Also the hotels there are not as pricey as in Tokyo, nice and comfy. At night, you can even enjoy the gulf view across the bridge at the walking distance. I’d recommend yokohama royal park hotel for most suitable place to stay, budget wise and location wise. #dreamdestination

Amazing to be able staying on a dry dock where in the past vessels laid up for repair and now a great place for visitor to lay up for a good rest and get ready for the next voyages!
