A Day at Dali Yiyun Hotel
||Today's update is a bit late, so here's a saved draft. Before leaving Dali last month, I went to Yiyun Hotel in Dali to have a bowl of crossing-the-bridge noodles, which cost 108 yuan, and visited the hotel's suite room type.
Review of the food:
The staff added the ingredients too quickly, so I only managed to capture one photo. First of all, since it costs 108 yuan, the ingredients and quality are definitely sufficient. Besides the noodles, they also provided local specialty cold dishes, cured meat, and some desserts, along with Pu'er tea.
Overall, it was worth the price. Although the noodles are refillable, the soup loses its flavor after two rounds, but two rounds are usually enough to feel full.
Review of the guest room:
The hotel has several courtyard gardens, and the suite room type is a room in one of the courtyards on the far side of the garden. The living room has everything you need, the bedroom is also very nice, and although the bathroom area has a single sink, the materials and bathtub are quite exquisite. Overall, the room is definitely of five-star hotel quality.
The outdoor garden is also very beautiful, and the design of the outdoor hot tub is very innovative. However, if you don't need the hot tub, I personally think the two-bedroom sea view suite is more suitable, with great value for money.
Review of the public area:
The hotel's guest room area and public area are well separated, making it a standard resort hotel. The public area includes a lobby bar, banquet hall, tea room, and buffet restaurant. The facilities are very complete. The spa next door looks quite professional, but there is no gym or swimming pool. Additionally, due to the renovation of the second phase of the project, the view from the public area may be somewhat obstructed. Each courtyard in the guest room area has its own scenery, and the garden views are beautifully done.
Overall, this is a pretty good resort hotel next to Cangshan, but there is still some distance in quality compared to brand chains. However, I hope it continues to improve!

Dali Parent-Child Tour, Yi Yun Hotel comes highly recommended!
✔️It was Duo Le's first long-distance trip, so my expectations for hotel amenities that cater to young children were high. The three-night stay proved to be so satisfying that I wished I could have stayed a few more days!
✔️The room we stayed in was a courtyard view twin room with two 2-meter-wide king beds. Parents with babies can request the front desk to install bed rails, which is incredibly thoughtful. No more worries about restless babies who move a lot in their sleep falling off the bed.
✔️The room is spacious enough to accommodate four large suitcases without feeling cramped. The bathroom is separated into wet and dry areas. The room comes with a courtyard complete with tables and chairs, perfect for enjoying a barbecue and the night view in the evening. Ordering takeout is very convenient as it can be delivered directly to the room.
✔️The hotel's buffet breakfast is worth recommending. Although the variety isn't vast, the taste is excellent, especially the beef rice noodles and beef noodles. The bone broth soup base is very flavorful and provides a great incentive to wake up early. I also tried the hotel's spa, which offers a great environment and service. The prices are a bit high, but it's worth it for the immediate relaxation it provides.
✔️Yi Yun's location is also fantastic. It's a short drive to Dali Ancient Town, March Street, Cloud Prairie, and Xin Di Coffee. All are just a few kilometers away.
After returning and chatting with my sisters, Dali is definitely a place I've been to and want to visit again. I plan to take the whole family there next year for a second visit, and half the reason is because of how satisfied I was with Yi Yun.

Accommodation in Lijiang and Dali
InterContinental Lijiang: The lobby can see the snow-capped mountains, the hardware facilities and services are good. The hotel has a small door that can directly go to the ancient city and Zhongyi Market. I went to the vegetable market four times in two days. This is the most satisfying hotel of this trip.
Dali / Wild Narrative: There are three Corgis suitable for dog lovers / parent-child tours. Breakfast has Western and Chinese styles. The others are also normal, but the bed is not very comfortable.
Dali Yiyun Hotel: The hotel courtyard design at the foot of Cangshan Mountain is very beautiful.

With Cangshan Mountain as the backdrop and Erhai Lake as the companion, the second phase of Dali Yiyun Hotel has been open for more than half a year. More than a year ago, the time spent in the courtyard-style villas of Dali Yiyun Hotel is still vivid in my memory. The hotel is hidden under Cangshan Mountain, with a wide view and a distant view of Erhai Lake. In my opinion, the location is really good, and it is currently a very scarce landscape resource in Dali.
1. Different from the courtyard-style villas, the second phase of the project mainly consists of row houses. The room types include luxury sea view terrace double rooms, luxury twin rooms, luxury sea view private suites, luxury sea view twin rooms, courtyard view twin rooms, and selected double bedroom sea view suites. The price is lower than that of a single villa, which can meet the housing needs of different customer groups. For guests with not so high budgets, choosing a row house is also very good;
2. The row houses in the second phase are full of various flowers in front of the door and in the courtyard. Throughout the year, flowers bloom all over the road, which is very pleasing to the eye and makes people feel happy. There are flowers and vegetation, and there are special gardeners to take care of them every day, pruning and watering, you can see that they are carefully maintained. The hotel is on the hillside of Cangshan Mountain, with a high forest coverage rate. Every morning when you go out for breakfast, the fresh air hits your face, and you feel great;
3. The hotel covers a large area, whether it is a single villa area or a row house, there are leisure trails. Guests staying in the hotel can take a walk along the road, which is also good. For parent-child guests, it is also easy to walk the baby. And living here is quite quiet, without any noise to disturb, helping to have a good sleep every night;
4. Of course, guests with high budgets who pursue a more private living environment can choose the single villas in the first phase. The first phase has a total of 16 boutique courtyard-style villas, with a total of 51 rooms. The rooms are named with humanistic and poetic names such as "Yunmen", "Chengshan", and "Taibai", which fit the landscape experience of dialogue with mountains and rivers. The room layout is warm and elegant, with a strong Bai nationality style. The hardware matching has also reached the luxury standard, with a fully intelligent room control system, intelligent toilet, Bluetooth system, capsule coffee machine, etc., the quality of the stay is quite good;
5. Although the hotel is small in size, it has everything it should have. The tea room can drink tea, and the lobby bar can have coffee and afternoon tea. In terms of leisure facilities, the hotel also has a "Chongyue SPA", guests who want to relax can make an appointment in advance to experience. The "Chongyue SPA" uses rare pure plant series products carefully formulated and developed by Yunnan Baiyao Research Institute, the light of the national brand, wonderful enjoyment, healing the body and mind in the mountains and forests;
6. Two kilometers next to the hotel is the Chongsheng Temple Three Pagodas, about five kilometers away from Dali Ancient City, I think it is quite convenient to travel, and taxis can respond quickly in the off-season. If you come to Dali for a trip and like an extremely quiet travel atmosphere, Dali Yiyun is one of the top choices.
