Yiwu Botanical Garden, waves of wheat roll on, presenting a picturesque countryside
Yiwu Botanical Garden's crop garden spans over 1,300 mu of farmland, used for planting wheat, rapeseed, sunflowers, rice, sorghum, and more. Visitors can enjoy different pastoral views in different seasons. The crops become a beautiful landscape, adding a 'return to nature' space to the city.
In half a month, the wheat will be ripe for harvest. At a glance, the wheat in Yiwu Botanical Garden still looks green, but it has gradually turned yellow. With the cool breeze, waves of wheat roll on. The fragrant earth emits a faint scent of fresh grass. The beautiful transition from green to yellow attracts visitors to stop and take photos.
From autumn planting to winter nurturing, from spring flourishing to summer fruition, the wheat's growing period spans four seasons. There are over 800 mu of wheat in Yiwu Botanical Garden, with 630 mu planted continuously in the crop garden. Next to the wheat fields, there are also fields of rapeseed and cherry blossoms. Now, these two companions have completed their blooming mission, and the wheat will soon give way to rice or sorghum.

Yiwu Botanical Garden is full of vibrant plants, with irises in full bloom
In ancient Greek mythology, the name of the rainbow goddess is Iris. On earth, the iris flower is also called Iris. In the paintings of famous artists such as Monet and Van Gogh, the iris is a recurring subject. Monet filled his private garden in France with colorful irises.
At the turn of spring and summer, the plants are joyous, and in the blink of an eye, it's the peak blooming season for irises. Along the ponds and paddy fields of Yiwu Botanical Garden, clusters of deep blue, light purple, and yellow irises quietly unfold. Each iris, light as a butterfly and elegant as an orchid, appears exceptionally dazzling against the backdrop of lakes and mountains.
The blooming period of irises is very short, about 7 days before they wither, so come and admire the splendid beauty of the rainbow goddess.

The largest botanical garden in East China, where forests and fields coexist harmoniously with the beautiful lakeshore scenery
Who is the largest botanical garden in the six provinces and one city of East China? Some say it is the Shanghai Chenshan Botanical Garden, while others say it is the Yiwu Botanical Garden. Chenshan Botanical Garden covers an area of 207 hectares, whereas Yiwu Botanical Garden spans 840 hectares. In terms of area, the crown of "the largest botanical garden in East China" undoubtedly goes to Yiwu, Zhejiang.
Although Yiwu is only a county-level city under the jurisdiction of Jinhua, its urban development scale exceeds many prefecture-level cities. According to the heat map, the urban area of Yiwu is significantly larger than that of Jinhua. It is no wonder that Yiwu has the largest botanical garden in East China.
Yiwu Botanical Garden is located in the northwest of Yiwu City. Inside the garden, forests and fields depend on each other, and the lakeshore scenery is integrated. An outer ring ecological greenway, over 10 kilometers long, connects Jianhu Lake, Hongqi Lake, Xingfu Lake, and various large and small mountain ponds. Along the way, there are characteristic landscapes such as the Flower Valley Terraces, Plum Garden Fun, Layers of Forest Colors, Phoenix Trees Embracing Cherry Blossoms, Lotus Wind and Osmanthus Willows, Begonia Spring Dawn, Sea of Flowers and Rosy Clouds, Colorful Forest Green Hills, Scholar Tree Pastoral, and Elm Forest Viewing Dike. Throughout the four seasons, one can enjoy large areas of plum blossoms, begonias, rapeseed flowers, cherry blossoms, roses, irises, lotus, sunflowers, chrysanthemums, and more.
The botanical garden also features attractions such as the Cute Pet World, Happy Water World, Amusement Park, Scarecrow Kingdom, and Xingfu Lake International Conference Center, making it both a great place to take children and a leisurely spot for relaxation.
