Gao Dong Cherry Blossom Garden is located at No. 300 Guangyao Road, Pudong New District, Shanghai, situated to the east of Gaoqiao Port, starting from the green belt of Hangjin Road to the north, extending to Guangyao Road to the east, and connecting with Zhouhai Road to the south. It boasts the longest riverside cherry blossom promenade in Shanghai, with a total length of about three kilometers. The southern section is planted with early-blooming cherry trees, while the northern section features late-blooming varieties. The cherry blossom garden is centered around a main Cherry Blossom Avenue, with three leisure squares—Gao Dong Xin Road Square, Guangcan Road Square, and Gao Dong Er Road Square—interspersed from north to south. In spring, when the cherry blossoms are in full bloom, this place is undoubtedly an excellent spot for flower viewing: with cherry trees forming a shaded forest, strolling among them, occasionally showered by cherry blossom petals, it feels like a fairyland, overwhelmingly beautiful. Gaodong Cherry Blossom Garden is located in Gaodong Town, Pudong, Shanghai, starting from the greening belt of Hangjin Road in the north, adjacent to Gaoqiao Port (Outer Ring Canal) in the west, extending to Guangyao Road in the east, and connecting with Zhouhai Road in the south. It is a narrow strip of green space characterized by cherry blossom planting, approximately 2000 meters long and more than 30 meters wide, covering a total area of about 70,000 square meters. The Cherry Blossom Garden was built in response to the goal of constructing a 'Cherry Blossom Town' in Gaodong Town, dedicated to creating a comfortable and livable environment for residents. Now, Gaodong boasts a cherry blossom corridor over 2000 meters long, with early-blooming cherry trees planted in the southern section and late-blooming ones in the northern section, totaling more than 10,000 cherry trees of various varieties.
