Yubeng, this Shangri-La hidden in the deep mountains, always allows the restless modern people to find the tranquility and awe in their hearts.
And today, I want to recommend to everyone the 'Wild Talk' hotel in Yubeng Village!🏨 After three years of meticulous crafting, the second phase of Wild Talk is finally making its dazzling debut! From the first to the fourth floor, every corner is filled with design, respecting the local culture while integrating many local stones, making one feel as if they are one with nature.

During the half month in Yubeng, I seemed to live a fairy-like life. Every day, I would stare at the snow mountains from the hotel, wander in the forest, and converse with the cattle and snails, as if the whole world had slowed down. Such a trip doesn't require deliberate pursuit, just feel, believe, and revere is enough.
📝Here come the tips!
1️⃣ You can choose to land at Shangri-La Airport or Lijiang Airport, then carpool to Xidang Village, about a 6-hour drive. If you have plenty of time, you can also stay in Shangri-La for one night before setting off!
2️⃣ Yubeng entrance ticket is 55 RMB per person, you can choose to take an off-road vehicle in the scenic area or hike in. The off-road vehicle costs about 260 RMB per person one way, and 200 RMB per person for the return trip, with ticket sales and operations stopping at 17:00 every day. Hiking one way takes about 8 hours, but remember to prepare hiking gear in advance!
3️⃣ The currently open hiking routes include the Sacred Waterfall and Ice Lake trails, and the hotel will prepare everything you need for the hike.

Stayed at 'Wild Language Deer Valley' for five days and four nights
It was so healing~
Sharing my feelings:
1️⃣ The first picture was taken at Phase I, all other photos were taken at Phase II.
2️⃣ Phase I has the 'legendary' best window view of Yubeng. The house with white and coffee colors spliced in picture 3 is Phase I, facing the snow mountain, the view is incredibly stunning. Phase II has more public areas, more leisurely and comfortable, I personally prefer the relaxed vibe of Phase II, if possible, I recommend staying one night in each. The two buildings are about a 5min walk from each other.
3️⃣ Ladies, be sure to bring several dresses, every area in Phase II is very photogenic! I spent the whole day in the hotel on the second day, watching the sunrise on the rooftop in the early morning, having afternoon tea and taking beautiful photos in the afternoon, dining by candlelight during the blue hour in the evening, and then cuddling on the sofa with friends for a drink by the fire under the snow mountain, the whole atmosphere was so full... After watching the brilliant starry sky, I went to sleep, feeling wonderful
3️⃣ On the third day, we chose to hike the Divine Waterfall trail (detailed strategy in the previous post), before leaving, the butler provided us with hiking poles and crampon shoes for free, and reminded us of the precautions for hiking, and stuffed two bottles of energy drinks for us before we set off, the service was so good
4️⃣ After hiking back to Wild Language, I really felt 'the money was well spent', the hardware and software facilities of the Wild Language rooms are very comfortable, especially the bedding, it's so comfortable to sleep in. After a tiring hike, I just wanted to take a hot shower and have a good sleep, waking up the next day to have breakfast while looking at the snow mountain was so beautiful...
5️⃣ Yubeng is not only a hiker's paradise but also a paradise for photo-loving ladies, besides the super photogenic Wild Language, I absolutely love the little forest under the snow mountain! A real-life version of the Emerald City, perfect for shooting fairy dresses, the moss here is 6cm thick, the ecology is super good, there are also friendly mules, cute little squirrels... Because of the ecological balance here, there are no snakes or bugs... (My photos are still being sorted)
6️⃣ Regarding the luggage issue that everyone is most concerned about. Although the journey is a bit of a hassle, you can rest assured to bring your suitcase. After getting off the off-road vehicle at the entrance of Lower Yubeng Village, there is actually a 20-minute walk to reach. But Wild Language has its own pickup service to take guests directly to the store, so there is no need to only carry a backpack into the village.
⚠️But be careful not to bring 'square fat' shaped suitcases! Because if the suitcase is too thick, an additional fee of 50 per trip is charged by the scenic area.
7️⃣ When entering Yubeng, it is recommended to start from Shangri-La, if you don't know how to go. Wild Language provides their long-term cooperative fleet (charter/car pool), which is really worry-free~

Passing through Shaxi, I witnessed the historical traces of the Tea Horse Road. Direct flights to Diqing Shangri-La or Lijiang.
The high-speed train from Lijiang to Shangri-La only takes 1.5 hours.
It is recommended to stay in Shangri-La for one night to avoid missing the vehicle to Yubeng.
Take a business car from Shangri-La to Xidang Village parking lot, the journey takes about 4-5 hours, and the cost is about 600-700 yuan/car.
The Yubeng scenic area ticket is 55 yuan/person, you can choose to take an off-road vehicle in the scenic area or hike in (about 8 hours one way).

I finally arrived at Yubeng Village at 4:30 pm on May 23. I was really tired and it was expensive to enter the village. Yubeng Village is divided into Upper Village and Lower Village. Tickets for the scenic spot are 55/person, 200/person for Upper Village and 260/person for Lower Village; return tickets are 200/person.
You can only enter the village by car provided by the village (the off-road vehicles are very dirty, the drivers are very fierce, and they are all speedsters. If you want to experience the speed and passion, and the round trip speed of life and death is nearly 1 hour, go and experience it!)
Most people go to Yubeng Village for hiking. The journey is long and arduous, so I personally think it is not suitable for taking children. We only stayed for one night, just to enjoy the scenery of the snow-capped mountains up close. We stayed at Yeyu in Xiacun. The most attractive thing about the hotel is that the large floor-to-ceiling windows directly face the view of Goddess Peak, one of the thirteen peaks of Meili Snow Mountain. The room type we stayed in was Shanyu• The double room (the largest room on the first floor) is said to have the best view. In fact, it is just a larger window than other rooms and has an extra bathtub. Outside the window next to the bathtub is a laundry room with several washing machines (it feels instant It’s not good, just close the curtains.) I think the best view is from the two leather chairs in the lobby.
Fortunately, I was able to enjoy the Rizhao Jinshan Mountain in the early morning of the next day. This feeling was really wonderful. Each room can accommodate up to 3 people, and an additional 200 yuan will be charged for the third person. (Including afternoon tea and breakfast) There are several restaurants near the hotel. The one next to it has a better view. For Shunde people who like delicious food, just make do with it.
The hotel is well equipped. According to the clerk, the owner of the hotel is a designer and a hiking enthusiast, so the store is equipped with a complete set of hiking equipment for loan. The bathroom is semi-dry and wet-separated. The shower area is half glass and half shower curtain. The shower curtain already has mold spots. When the water pressure of the shower head is high, the shelf cannot fix the shower head. There is a sloppy warning tape hanging on the floor of the aisle to remind guests to pay attention to the steps. Judging from the appearance of this tape, it has been in this state for at least a week. As everyone knows, this will make it easier for guests to trip. The temperature in Yubeng Village is low in the morning and night, so be careful to keep warm. We didn’t plan to hike this time. After breakfast, we went to the virgin forest opposite for a walk. After walking along the plank road for about 1 kilometer, we turned back. Continue walking for about 3 kilometers to reach the Shen waterfall. I met many travel friends along the way and admired their strong willpower.
On the way back to the hotel on foot, I heard a loud noise from the mountain, an avalanche, and snow continued to roll down for several minutes. At this moment, I realized how insignificant human beings are in front of nature.
