If you're going, how about eating seafood caught by female divers with the sunset in the background? You can order while looking at the fresh seafood, and when the food comes out, you can take it to your seat. The price range is a bit high, but it's okay if you think of it as the atmosphere(?). I visited after seeing it on Instagram, and one thing is for sure, the atmosphere is really good. The taste is just so-so, but it tastes even better because of the atmosphere. Rather than ordering enough to fill your stomach, order enough to enjoy a bottle of soju while enjoying the atmosphere and watching the sunset. #MarchGoodPlaces2025 This is one of my favorite places on this trip. When you take a taxi to the place, you can gradually see the murals of female divers on the coast, and you know you have arrived. The first floor of the cultural exhibition hall is the Ama restaurant, which sells the freshest seafood and is cooked by the Ama women for tourists. The fresh ingredients are delicious with just simple seasoning. I ordered the dishes recommended by the Ama women, which were served on a big tray, which was very cute. You can pay with a credit card. I ate every bite with gratitude, and was really touched by the female divers diving into the sea to fish up the freshest and most delicious seafood! The ramen 🍜 contains a rich variety of seafood and an octopus leg. The seaweed rice roll is really delicious when eaten with the sea urchin. The abalone drizzled with sesame oil highlights its freshness. The octopus is really delicious when eaten directly without dipping it in sauce~ There are indoor and outdoor dining options. Outdoors, I saw people sitting on the beach with mats like a picnic. It was really cozy and comfortable! I'll try it next time I go~ Don’t leave in a hurry after dining. There is a Haenyeo Exhibition Hall on the second floor where you can read an introduction to the Haenyeo. Although it is only in Korean, you can still feel the difficulties of the Haenyeo through translation and pictures. It is really a special experience from the origin to the table! #Yingdao

If you are not afraid of strong wind, you can choose an outdoor seat and eat while watching the sea. The most recommended is seafood noodles (짬뽕 jjamppong). Originally just wanted to order another seaweed to try, but my pig mother strongly recommended to eat with seaweed wrapped rice 😋 Personally, I think the seaweed is average, the seawater taste is heavier not as fresh as imagined 😅 After eating, you can also go to the 2/F, which is the Sea Girl Museum, which introduces a lot of history about the sea girl culture. #KoreanFood2024 I took a bus from Jagalchi to the female divers' village in Yeongdo. It's a lively place with lots of lively ajummas. I recommend the seafood ramen, which is full of abalone, octopus, and mussels. If you eat kimbap with raw sea urchin on top, the aroma of the sea fills your mouth. The hot ramen I ate while feeling the sea breeze on the terrace overlooking the sea was absolutely delicious.

#December Travel Support Event Yeongdo Haenyeo Village, which I visited during my trip to Busan. It is a Haenyeo Village in Yeongdo where you can taste seafood dishes caught by Haenyeo. It doesn't taste special, but the price is cheap and the simple kimbap was surprisingly delicious. I recommend ordering the ramen and kimbap and tasting them. The Haenyeo grandmothers were also very kind.

#OceanView Even in the hot season, you can't give up ramen and kimbap while looking at the waves right in front of the ocean, and even sea urchin and conch. I finally visited Yeongdo Haenyeo Village, which I couldn't visit every time I visited Busan due to the weather. Anything tastes good when you eat it by the sea, but it was actually so delicious that I ate it all up in one sitting. There are other menus besides what we ate, so if you're planning to visit Yeongdo, be sure to stop by! They open at 9 in the morning, so you can eat it for breakfast like we did and start your trip. If you order kimbap, make sure to order sea urchin too and put it on top of the kimbap!!
