Having a sugar blush and lowkey blushing at how beautiful Yeon Cafe is! This Korean-style cafe is located in the Pelangi area. I sat right at the end of the cafe where it’s the most ig-worthy by the window-side. They were playing IU’s music when I walked in. They specialize in Korean mains, Japanese-inspired dishes, and some delicious bakes. Their beverage selection was extensive, including soda, kombucha, coffee, etc. I ordered the Fresh Cherry Black Forest Cake and a Red Grape Soda to go with the dessert. The Black Forest Cake slice is rich and decadent, featuring layers of dark chocolate sponge cake, whipped cream, and fresh cherries. The cherries are embedded within the cream, adding a burst of juicy tartness. The cake is topped with a generous swirl of cream, more cherries, and a decorative chocolate piece. #singapore One of my favourite cafes in SG. It offers high quality, finely decorated, not to mention delicious in a unique way desserts. Its Korean dishes are more than fine. I always finish wanting for more. Drinks are unique and tasty too! The atmosphere is cosy, slightly bohemian, slightly nostalgic, with wooden smell, soft pastel flowers, plants, a few books, and cushions. Many good afternoons were spent with family and friends there.
