⛱️Must-visit attractions:
1️⃣Lonely Whale: When a whale falls, all things thrive. A whale fall is the last tenderness a whale leaves to the ocean. Experience the loneliness and greatness of whales here.
2️⃣Golden Beach Seaside Park: The white transparent wedding chapel looks even more romantic with the sea.
3️⃣Housha Square: Perfect for watching the sunset. You can take photos that blend the sea and sky at the Mong Kok Corridor Bridge.
4️⃣Yangma Island: It takes 3-4 hours to circle the island. Come in the afternoon, and after circling the island, watch the sunset at Xishan Bay. There are many check-in points on Yangma Island: Zhang Island (red boardwalk, conch cave), Yubi Garden (big photo frame), sea erosion caves (Dog Demon Eighteen Caves), Island Diary (popular coffee shop), Lotus Sunset (lonely tree, island letter, popular cave).
5️⃣Fisherman's Wharf: Coming to Yantai without visiting Fisherman's Wharf is like not coming at all! The European-style buildings along the coast resemble a seaside town in Europe, and the same sea track as in Spirited Away is also here.
6️⃣Yantai Mountain: Features Bing Xin's former residence, Dragon King Temple, Relang Pavilion, and offers a high view of the sea.

Bus No. 17 covers almost all the attractions from Yumeiren Square to Chaoyang Street. The double-decker bus runs along the coastline, enjoying the sea breeze and the night view of Fisherman's Wharf. The beauty can only be described by experiencing it yourself.

Last weekend, while at home, I stumbled upon a video of a stranded whale. It took me a while to find out from the comments that it was the Golden Sand Beach in Yantai, and I was utterly amazed!
There's a kind of beauty that's lonely and breathtaking. I never expected to find such a place in our country, let alone visit it so soon!!
I've been to Qingdao three times and Weihai twice—each has its own charm. But how to describe Yantai? I think its sea is blue like a little poem, not many tourists here, and the pace of life is very slow.
I've put together a three-day, two-night guide 🤔 to share with everyone
👣Route
D1: Arrive at the hotel at noon, Xincheng North Street, Binhai Middle Road, Haichang Fisherman's Wharf, Yantai Snack Street
D2: Lonely Whale, Golden Sand Beach, Seaside Park, Yangma Island
D3: Free time → Return trip
On the second day, it's recommended to rent a car 🚗 for a self-drive tour, as the attractions are roughly distributed in the east and west directions, quite far apart. When you get to Yangma Island, self-driving will also be more comfortable than an electric car.
🏠Accommodation
I recommend staying near Joy City and Yantai Station for convenient transportation and proximity to the sea. If you want to stay near the Yantai Snack Street to watch the sunrise and sunset and play in the sand, then stay near the Golden Sand Beach.
