Yangshuo is situated around 2 hours away from Guilin which has an airport. To get to Yangshuo, you can either get a taxi or a river cruise (which is lovely when the weather is nice). Yangshuo has a national park with lots of lovely views and wonderful B&Bs at very affordable prices. Outside of the National park, there is a cultural square that has bars, restaurants and shops which can get very busy. 🛵Getting There - During our stay we rented motorcycles which cost us 30yuan a day. ⛰️Attractions - While we where there we just took the motorcycles and went around the countryside. Everywhere you went had a amazing view and photo shoot opportunity. in the main Street there is many activities, such as clubs, cafes, cartoon artists, shooting range, souvenir shipping and much more 🏡Hotels - We stayed at Yangshuo Yi lan hotel. It had an amazing views showen in the last picture and a great location, with a 20min walk from main Street. 🍴Food & Restaurants - there is many Chinese restaurants and also western food too. Ever seen one of those Chinese natural landscape buildings where there is the river and the mountains? This is exactly what you will see here! And there is no better experience in actually being on the boat itself, cruising through the river and watching the mountains right in front of you! Located at Yangshuo, Guilin of China, bamboo rafting is one of the most popular activity to do and I highly recommend everyone who visits here to make time for it! The ride is along the Yulong river, and is via a non-motorised bamboo boat, manually steered by the boatman. It will be a peaceful ~1 hour(time may vary depending on route taken) journey, where you will just sit back and admire of the beauty of the natural landscapes. Yangshuo Park is located in the center of Yangshuo town, it is a favorite hangout place of local residents, who come to the park to exercise, play games such as chess or mah-jongg, sing and dance, or relax and unwind. It’s an easy place to escape the tourist crowds of West Street. From the front of the park just wander in till you reach the children’s play area (to your left) You will see a path leading off past the children’s area, head down this path. After the monument you will pass along the way you will come to a small junction with the main path turning to the right and a smaller dirt path leading to the left and to the bottom of the karst mountain. You can stop about halfway up at a beautiful outlook spot, which reaches out from the mountain into the park, some of the views here in the early evening can be stunning!
