When visiting Xiapu, I highly recommend staying in Dongbi Village. Many popular homestays and restaurants are located in this area. I suggest staying at No. 88 Homestay, which also offers dining options. It is a true sea-view room with an infinity pool, perfect for taking stunning photos! Moreover, the famous Instagram-worthy staircase is right next to No. 88 Homestay. The popular photo spot shown in picture 2 is also nearby. It's very convenient for dining, accommodation, and photography! When you're by the sea, you must try the seafood🦐, especially the baby cuttlefish, which you can only find by the seaside. It's incredibly tender and delicious! Another local specialty is Minnan paste, which is also quite good and can be a main dish. The oyster omelette is highly recommended as well. Lastly, I suggest buying a small bucket and shovel in advance for playing on the beach🏖️. You might dig up some unexpected surprises! We saw others with them and were so envious, just watching them. If you're taking night photos on the beach, I recommend bringing a small lamp or sparklers🎆 to create a great atmosphere.
