Explore the first ferry of the Qin capital: Xianyang Ancient Ferry Site Museum.
❤❤️❤️Recommended reasons:
🔹Xianyang Ancient Ferry Site Museum is located in Weibin Street, Qin Du District, Xianyang City. The museum uses the ancient ferry site, more than 120 cultural relics, and simulated scenes to vividly recreate the historical development and changes of the ancient ferry.
🔹Xianyang Ancient Ferry was the first ferry of the Silk Road in the Tang Dynasty. It was built on the site of the "Xianyang Ancient Ferry" on the Wei River. The Wei River flows through Guanzhong and passes by the ancient Qin capital of Xianyang. The ancient bridge reappeared after being buried for a hundred years.
🔹Xianyang Ancient Ferry was built during the Jiajing period of the Ming Dynasty. It was a key passage from ancient Chang'an to the northwest and southwest, and was in a very important geographical location. The great poet of the Tang Dynasty, Wang Wei, wrote a poem here for his friend: "The morning rain in Weicheng moistens the light dust, the green inn is fresh with the color of willows, I urge you to drink another cup of wine, for there will be no old friends west of Yangguan."
🔹A large number of precious cultural relics and Sui and Tang Buddhist statues were unearthed near the ancient ferry site, providing detailed information for the study of Buddhist cultural activities at that time and the cultural exchanges between the Central Plains and the Western Regions. The ancient Silk Road is also known as the "Buddhist Road."
🔹Now, four modern highway bridges and four railway bridges have been built across the Wei River in Xianyang, making it an important hub on the Guanzhong transportation artery. The banks of the Wei River are dominated by Qin culture, and the beautiful environment of natural greening and beautification forms a unique Weishui cultural landscape in Xianyang.
🔹Now, the 100-kilometer-long Weihe Ecological Corridor, with the Weihe River as the central axis, has become a beautiful landscape of the integration of Xi'an and Xianyang. Visitors and citizens come here to explore the ancient ferry site, and while reminiscing about the past and thinking about the present, they are more amazed by the changes of the times. Isn't everything in front of them today an extension of the history of the Epang Palace in the Qin Dynasty?
