[2025 Deqing Attraction] Travel Guide for Xiantan Village (Updated May)

I didn't do any research in advance. This was a spontaneous 3-day, 2-night trip. I can only say that I was very lucky. I didn't have any bad experiences and had a great time. Plus, because I booked the hotel in advance, the entire trip cost only approx. CNY 500/day per person. I was very satisfied with the trip. Itinerary: DAY 1 Arrive in Deqing around noon → Moganshan Scenic Area (fresh air) → Feed pigeons at Yucun Square → Eat farmhouse cuisine DAY 2 Wake up naturally → Sunparks Water Park → Experience massage and spa in Deqing city center → Dine at the hotel DAY 3 Take photos at the rooftop pool of the hotel (ins-worthy photos) → Hike and explore Xiantan → Return trip (arrive in Shanghai around 3pm) High-speed rail travel There are direct high-speed trains from Shanghai to Deqing. The ticket price is between CNY 80–90. Accommodation: Grand New Century Hotel Jiayi Deqing Activities: Sunparks Water Park, Yucun, Xiantan, Deqing city center Transportation: Mostly by taxi. It is recommended to use a ride-hailing app and occasionally walk. If you have a limited budget, it is recommended to buy a bus ticket from the tourist center, which goes directly to the scenic area. Wake up naturally in the fresh air,

Early cherry blossoms and magnolias are still in full bloom,
the green hills and clear waters are a feast for the eyes.
Soak in a private hot spring while enjoying the mountain view—
you probably won't find this scenery in the city.

Free-range chicken and bamboo shoots are good for the stomach,
and you can even dig for bamboo shoots in your spare time.
Spring tea will have to wait until the end of the month.
Walking the dog by the stream is also a healthy way to relax.
Strolling through the small town is full of charm.
