📍One of the must-visit attractions on Pingtan Island, Fuzhou - Xianrenjing Scenic Area is famous for its spectacular sea-eroded landforms.
After purchasing tickets at the visitor center, follow the shaded path uphill. There are various stalls along the way. After about 500 meters, you will reach the entrance.

✅Follow the signs and descend the steps to the "Xianren Valley" by the sea for sightseeing and photography. Here, towering stone peaks stand on both sides, as if carved by a celestial axe. Waves crash against the shore, sending snowflakes of spray flying. In the distance, the vast blue sea stretches out, with a lone sail in the distance, like a natural painting.

✅Return and continue uphill to the high coast. You can see that Xianrenjing is a huge natural sea-eroded vertical well, with a depth of over 47 meters and a mouth diameter of over 50 meters. Its formation is a sea-eroded skylight formed by the collapse of volcanic rock along multiple sets of joints under the action of sea wave erosion. Pian Tan Immortal Well Scenic Area
Arriving at Pian Tan on the second day, we chartered a car for a day trip. We reached the Immortal Well Scenic Area around 9 o'clock in the morning.
Immortal Well Scenic Area, a provincial-level geological park. It consists of landscapes such as Immortal Well, Immortal Cave, and Immortal Valley, featuring a rare marine erosion landform in China. The Immortal Well is 40 meters deep, a natural marine erosion vertical shaft, with three small wells at the bottom connected to the sea. 🌈Popular spots on the northern route:
1️⃣Xianrenjing: Here you can see cliffs and sea erosion wonders, like a mountain split in the middle, with goose soft stone scattered at the bottom of the valley, and the surging waves in front.
2️⃣Beigang Village: A cultural and creative village that became famous because of the filming location of 'Where Are We Going, Dad?', but I don't think there's anything special, just a small village by the sea with stone houses, most of which have been converted into homestays. It's suggested that you can skip this place ❌
3️⃣The most beautiful island ring road: A ring road between Beigang and Changjiangao, with sunshine ☀️ beaches 🏖️, windmill fields, etc., and some corners of the road can be surprisingly open and beautiful, better seen with eyes than captured in photos 📸. There are many snack stalls along the road where you can eat while strolling.
4️⃣Jingsha: Known as the 'Little Iceland'! Besides the beach, there is also a large area of black volcanic rock. On the left side of the beach, there is a black rock cave resembling Iceland's blue ice cave, where many people queue up to take photos. You can only enter during low tide, but the bottom rocks are sharp, so it's not recommended to take children there for photos. The black rocks by the sea are also photogenic.
5️⃣Tanshui Village Internet-famous swing: 📍Tanshui Village Committee, there will be signs by the road when you are close. It costs 10 yuan per person to swing for photos, and it's very photogenic with blue sky and white clouds, but I think it's a bit expensive.
Tanshui Village has opened quite a few homestays, the environment here is relatively quiet, close to the Changjiangao night market, and dining is within walking distance. It's also a frequent area for blue tears, recommended for those who like quiet.
I stayed at the Gucheng Jiuyu Homestay in Tanshui Village, with a very high first floor, a new environment, and an outdoor hot spring pool connected to hot water. This season, after the children play in the sea, they can soak in the hot water in the pool.
6️⃣Changjiangao: Super suitable for sunset photos, and when the weather is good, you can also see the windmill sunset orange sea. Dining is convenient, with many restaurants nearby, as well as a night market for you to choose from.

🔹 **Shanmenqian**: This place is like the welcoming gate of Shanmen Village. Locate the Shanmen Ancient Village Bus Stop and look towards the sea, and you'll see a large grassland, perfect for taking photos. 🌾📸
🔹 **Jingsha**: This beach made of black rocks and fine sand is under development. Although it's similar to the Fairy Well and free of charge, there is more trash along the shore, so remember to protect the environment. 🏖️♻️
🔹 **Changjiang'ao**: An excellent spot to watch the sunset. Although you can't see the sun fall from the sea level, the blend of the sunset and windmills has a unique charm, and sometimes you might be lucky enough to see blue tears. 🌅💫

I took the high-speed train from Quanzhou to Pingtan at more than 4 o'clock last night, arrived at Pingtan around seven, took the night line 2 to Taxation Station 1, and checked into Jinjiang Star Fashion Hotel.
To be honest, the hotel environment is average, there is a gap with Home Inn, Hanting and other express hotels, just went to the bathroom the toilet is blocked, later repaired, the ground a lot of clumped hair, obviously not cleaned, more than nine o'clock at night also heard the corridor do not know what the staff are saying, in short, the experience is average.
But the hotel location is good, the hotel does not have breakfast in the morning, searched a nearby 'Bao Long Xian' small shop, group purchase, good taste, cheap price.
The night before I rented a six-seater Buick GL6 business car, the car was delivered at nine o'clock, so I went to the first stop-Dragon and Phoenix Head, drove more than 1 kilometer to get there, the car can be parked in the parking lot, walked in, the sand is super fine, just a super wind on the beach, the sea water in cloudy days is not as blue as described online, but you can vaguely feel the beauty here in summer.
Played at Dragon and Phoenix Head for a while, the wind was too strong, so I walked back to the parking lot, as long as I returned to the small woods near the parking lot, I immediately couldn't feel the wind, it was amazing.
Drove a few kilometers and navigated to Xianrenjing, Xianrenjing charges admission, Ctrip adult 22 yuan, children 11 yuan, Xianrenjing scenic area has several viewing platforms, you can see Xianren Peak, Xianrenjing, etc., Xianrenjing if you have not seen this kind of landform before, the first time is worth seeing.
Continued north, a few kilometers to Beigang Village, at this time the sky began to drizzle, Beigang Village only stood for a while and left, in fact, the stone houses and the sea in Beigang Village are worth seeing, just raining, a bit regrettable.
The more regrettable is Jing Sha, have arrived, the rain began to get bigger, only stood by the sea for a while and left, really a bit reluctant.
It was already around two o'clock at that time, I went to Changjiang Ao with a try, but the weather was not beautiful at all, the rain did not get smaller, fortunately, you can also see the coastline on the roadside, and the windmill, the sea water in winter is roaring, howling, the wind is blowing, the rain is pouring, with the roar of the sea water, I instantly felt the power of nature.
Although it was only around three o'clock, I decided to return to the city, returned to the hotel and wanted to find a place to eat, I was surprised to find that many restaurants are actually 14:00 to 16:30 rest, that is, closed, so I had to wait a while, later went to Pingtan Yilu's Drunk Delight Restaurant for dinner, returned the car to the high-speed rail station, took the high-speed rail to Fuzhou, ready to start the last day of the journey.
I think, this time there are regrets, there are reluctances, I will come to Pingtan again in the future.
