A must-stay family-friendly hotel in the center of Guilin, within walking distance to Elephant Trunk Hill!
Moms traveling to Guilin with kids should definitely consider this hotel, it's really great!
First of all, thumbs up for the service👍. Since we had a lot of luggage🧳 with the little one, the young lady at the hotel entrance warmly greeted us and naturally helped us with our luggage. Meanwhile, another young lady in the lobby was already pouring us some luohanguo tea🍵. During our stay, the little one accidentally broke a cup and dirtied the quilt, but they handled it promptly without blaming us or asking for compensation. Really great!
Secondly, the location is excellent. 🚶♀️Within a few minutes' walk, you can reach major attractions like⛰️ Elephant Trunk Hill, Sun and Moon Twin Pagodas, East and West Alleys, etc. There are also many places to eat nearby, with a food street right downstairs at the Cultural Palace. The roads are flat, making it easy to push a stroller, and the little one can walk by themselves. Even if you haven't done any planning, don't worry, there are📜 travel guides posted in the hotel elevator, saving you time and effort!
We booked a family room, which had many toys, including a⛺️ small tent that the little one loved. Surprisingly, the hotel thoughtfully provided a step stool and a children's toilet seat, so the little one didn't need me to hold them while washing hands. Seeing them trying hard to stand on their own made this mom very happy.
The hotel offers a free buffet breakfast, which is quite standard. The highlight should be the freshly cooked🍜 Guilin rice noodles, which tasted very good. The little one enjoyed it very much. By the way, there is a block table next to the restaurant, probably considering that some kids might be noisy, so they can play there without disturbing others.
