Huaiyuan Ancient Town is located in the northwest of Yizhou City, Guangxi, about an hour and a half drive from Liuzhou City. And Xiaojian River is near Huaiyuan Ancient Town, so it is very convenient to drive there. 🚗Attraction Transportation: If you are departing from Liuzhou City, it is recommended to drive there, because the scenery along the way is also very beautiful! Just search for "Huaiyuan Ancient Town" on the navigation, and you will find a smooth road with no traffic jams. If you can't find a parking space in the ancient town, don't worry, there is a parking lot by the river outside the ancient town. Although you have to pay a parking fee, it is better than having no place to park! 👍️Must-visit Attractions: Huaiyuan Ancient Town: As soon as you enter the ancient town, you will feel like you have traveled back in time, with stone roads, blue brick houses, small bridges, and flowing water, all exuding an ancient charm. Since it was Monday, there were not many tourists when we went, so we could leisurely walk and chat, enjoying the tranquility and comfort. Xiaojian River: After visiting the ancient town, you can also go to the nearby Xiaojian River. Although the water was not very full when we went due to the dry season, the scenery by the river was still very beautiful. Their vegetarian dishes are 15 yuan per pound, and chicken feet and chicken tips are 35 yuan per pound. The taste is super good, but a bit spicy. If you are afraid of spicy food, remember to ask the owner to put less chili! BBQ Recommendation: What to do when you are hungry at night? Of course, go for BBQ! We went to "Week Eight BBQ" opposite Hechi College, and the jam-flavored BBQ was simply delicious! However, because the business was so good, we waited for more than an hour before we could eat. If you want to go, remember to queue up in advance! Parking: There are many parking spaces outside the ancient town, but remember to ask about the fees! We parked in the parking lot by the river, and although there was a fee, it was reasonable. If you don't want to pay for parking, you can also try to find free parking spaces in the ancient town, but it may be a bit difficult to find! Overall, Yizhou is still a good choice! Check in Xiahe River in Yizhou. It takes more than 1 hour by car from Liuzhou. - This time I came in winter, the river water receded, revealing the riverbed, and some boats stopped operating. Without the cruise ship, it was much quieter here, but also much more peaceful. We found a nearby restaurant with a stove and tea, the price was really cheap, and we had barbecue while enjoying the scenery. In winter, you can walk on the riverbed of Xiahe River, pick up the cobblestones on the ground, and throw them into the farther river, which is really quite a childhood joy. Escape the hustle and bustle, take a different path, this place is really suitable for leisure, there are basically no tourists in winter, you can also come to experience the art and culture of tie-dyeing, it's really great!

The highlights are at night. Nothing much during the day. The night view is beautiful, with fireworks. Not sure if there are still fireworks now? I went when it just opened. ⭐️Yingying Sweet Rice Noodle Shop The first meal after getting off the highway! It should be in the new district, anyway, it's easy to park. We ordered three fresh boiled noodles with added eggs. The side dishes are self-served. It's on the sweeter side. ⭐️Old Brand Cold Dishes When I came to Yizhou before, I ate at the old brand.
