Most people who haven't been to Wuyishan have done their research, but there are two free, less crowded, and beautiful places worth visiting before you leave. P1-P4 Wuyi Palace Located at the foot of Dawang Peak, the recommended route is: Wuyi Palace ➡️ Wanchun Garden ➡️ Guanyutai ➡️ Zhizhian ➡️ Song Street ➡️ Wuyi Spring and Autumn Pavilion. Zhizhian is a Taoist temple dating back to the Song Dynasty, and its motto "Stop when you should, go when you should" is full of life philosophy. Wuyi Palace is full of beautiful scenery and photo spots, with the gentle and romantic charm of Jiangnan. Song Street is full of shops, perfect for recharging your energy.     🚅 Wuyi Mountain Transportation Take the high-speed train to Wuyi Mountain Station/Nanping Station. Wuyi Mountain Station is closer to the Sanggu Resort area. If you get off at Nanping Station, you can take the tram for about 40 minutes to reach Wuyi Mountain Station, with a fare of 10 yuan, and there is a tram every 15-20 minutes. When you reach the terminal station and come out, the South Gate of Wuyi Mountain Scenic Area is right across the street. Route 1️⃣ Jiuquxi Rafting—Wuyi Palace—Song Street—Zhizhi An 🌊 Jiuquxi Rafting: After arriving at the south gate of the scenic area, you can take a sightseeing bus to the bamboo raft ticket office. The whole bamboo raft journey is about 1h40min, 130 yuan per person. Each bamboo raft can accommodate 8 people. After boarding the raft, the passengers will discuss whether they want an explanation, which costs 20 yuan per person. Personally, I suggest getting the explanation, otherwise, you're just taking a raft ride and looking at the mountains without knowing anything.     The moment I stepped into Mount Wuyi, I was deeply shocked by the scenery before my eyes. The green mountains were like ink paintings, and the clear waters babbled, resembling a flowing scroll of painting, so beautiful that it took my breath away. I had originally planned to take a bamboo raft and drift leisurely on the Nine Bend River, to feel the tranquility and comfort. However, I was unable to do so, and although there was some regret in my heart, when I decided to take to the mountain paths and climb, that regret was instantly replaced by the magnificence of nature. I walked along the winding mountain roads, and every step felt like I was walking in poetry and the distance.     🔥The main scenic area of Wuyi Mountain is free of charge until April 30th this year, and all public buses in the Wuyi Mountain area are also free of charge. (At first, when you get on the bus without paying, it feels a bit awkward) However, on the scenic area's 'Princess' bus, there is a 1-3 day scenic bus pass available. 1⃣ Tianyou Peak, the classic main peak of Wuyi Mountain, can be summited in 40 minutes if you're physically fit. Standing at the top, you have a broad view, overlooking the entire Wuyi Mountain scenic area. 2⃣ Yunnvfeng (Jade Maiden Peak), cannot be climbed, but you can pass by on a bamboo raft. 3⃣ Dahongpao (Big Red Robe) Scenic Area, where you can admire the mother tree of Dahongpao tea, a paradise for tea enthusiasts. 4⃣ Shuilian Cave (Water Curtain Cave), experience the spectacular sight of the water curtain.
