Besides being a filming location for the movie Transformers, it is also where The City of Golden Armor was shot 🎬. You can easily join a one-day or two-day tour from Chongqing, making it very convenient 👍. From the entrance, you can follow the steps down and soon reach the only man-made structure in the scenic area, the Tianfu Post Station. Sharp-eyed movie fans might find it familiar, and yes, you guessed it right, it's the one! Beyond the post station, the scenery becomes even more enchanting, with numerous waterfalls, small bridges, and rivers along the way. The fresh air filled with phytoncides is truly refreshing ❤️. I highly recommend spending a day visiting Wulong Tiankeng when you are in Chongqing to appreciate the wonders of nature. It is definitely worth the ticket price 👍.

#Solo travel plan Review Wulong Karst Geological Park (武隆喀斯特) Date: 25/10/2023, Solo travel This name may seem confusing, but if you say an inn, many people will definitely say "Oh!". Check out more details in the picture. 1) Basic park information In this park There are 4 popular tourist spots (we only went to the first 2, because it was raining so we decided not to go to the rest). ■ Three Natural Bridges, Heavenly Bridge Park: Simply put, it is the place where the inn is, the entrance fee is 125 CNY. ■ Longshuixia Gap, Longshui Gap: It is a mountain crack and there is a waterfall (let's call it this in Thai, I saw it on Pantip, someone called it Heavenly Flower Waterfall), the entrance fee is 105 CNY. ■ Furong Cave, Furong Cave ■ Fairy Mountain, Fairy Mountain 2) Visiting the park - Take a bus from Wulong for about half an hour, the bus will drop you off at the pyramid building (tourist service center). When you walk into the building Go to the ticket booth, don't hesitate. - We bought tickets at the venue as usual, paid via Alipay/Wechat. When buying, we told the officer that we wanted to buy both Tung Fa and Longshui, but the officer only sold Tung Fa for 125 CNY and told us to go to Longshui to buy it upstairs. - After getting the tickets, we walked to get on the bus. There were lines going to Tung Fa and Longshui. Choose the right one. If you're not sure, show the officer the picture and he will point it out for you. 2.1) Three Natural Bridges, Tung Fa Bridge Park: - From where the bus stops, we walked a bit to the entrance. If you see Bubble B waiting to greet you, it means you've come to the right place. - Then, we walked to the elevator. On the day we went, there was no line at all. We got on the elevator alone, feeling extremely VIP. - After getting out of the elevator, we walked along the walkway. It was drizzling and foggy. The sky was overcast, but we thought it was great because of the fog (I'm consoling myself). - We walked along the path. You will pass important points such as the inn, the three bridges. - Keep walking and you will reach the exit. At the exit, there will be a golf cart to take you to the transfer point in the park. The price is 15 CNY. I recommend taking the car. If you walk, it will be an uphill path (it's quite far. I feel discouraged when I see it). - At the transfer point, there are food and beverage shops. From here, you can choose to go back to the pyramid building or Longshui as you like. 2.2) Longshuixia Gap Longshui Gap - The bus will drop you off at the entrance. We bought a ticket for 105 CNY and paid with Alipay/Wechat as usual. - Then, walk down the elevator as usual. - This point will be a walkway of about 2 km. The walking part will be stairs to walk along the cliff that is a crack. - When it rains, there will be thick fog to enjoy. But the walkway is quite slippery. Water from rain, waterfalls, shoes get wet. - Keep walking and you will reach the exit. Then we took the bus back to the Pyramid building. 3) Travel to the park 3.1) From Chongqing (without a private car) ● Train: - Chongqingbei Station (Chongqing North) -> Wulong Station. - At Wulong Train Station, there will be someone holding a sign inviting you to take the bus to the Pyramid building. The price is 10 CNY (I didn't take this because I stayed for 1 night and will go sightseeing the next day). - If you don't take the bus at the train station, you can take it at the bus station. It is about 1 km away from the train station. The fare is 10 CNY. - On the way back, take the bus at the Pyramid building and get off at the train station or the bus station in Wulong city. The fare is 10 CNY. ● Bus: - Take the bus at Jiefangbei Station. There are agents in Thailand that offer packages: round-trip bus tickets and park entrance tickets. 4) Others 4.1) The park's shuttle bus. If there are not many people, you have to wait for it to leave in turns. For those who have to travel back to Chongqing, don't forget to leave some time for this. We almost missed the train. 4.2) Train: There are only a few round trips per day. I recommend taking the C train. On the way there, we took the regular train (K) with soft seats. It was not very convenient. The cigarette smell was very strong. 4.3) Taking the shuttle bus in the park, if you don't speak Chinese, showing a picture is convenient. The officer will point out where to go. Later, I was too lazy to talk, so I just showed the picture. 555 4.4) Longshui, the path is quite slippery. Prepare good shoes so it's not dangerous. 4.5) Personally, I like Longshui a lot. I like the stairs along the cliff. When walking, I can hear the sound of flowing water. It's awesome. 4.6) We stayed in Wulong city first, so we had time to walk around the city. - We went to watch a basketball game in the gym. We used our Chinese-like attitude to cheer along with them. - We walked around the fresh market. Vegetables and fruits were very cheap. I found a big cabbage for 3 yuan/plant, which was very cheap. #newyearnewtrip After a rejuvenated rest in fairy mountain on new year’s day. I decided to not waste my trip in the mountain region and booked a tour to wulong karst the next day. Wulong Karst, listed as World Heritage Sites by UNESCO, and a national AAAAA scenic spot and it is also the film location of Transformer IV Age of Extinction. Since the release of Transformer IV, Wulong is well-known by global movie fans. It becomes a hot travel destination. The day trip turns out to be a challenging and rewarding one. We hopped on at 遊客中心, passed some winding mountain road, not long after, you will see a big gigantic transformer greets you at the entrance of 天生三橋。one ticket will let you access to the glass bridge, the spiral lift and the valleys. First stop is the 天生三桥玻璃观景眺台, a panoramic view of the mountains and a test of your fear of heights. At the encouragement of the tour guide, more people step forward onto the glass bridge to take in the extraordinary view. I was challenged to take a jump shot, and I did it! After the glass bridge we move forward to take the spiral lift which brings us up to 108 storeys high and down, nothing magnificent though and not much thrill after the jump shot at the glass bridge. Thereafter we started our long journey of up and down the hills, taking in the views of the valleys and waterfalls. Went through many many steps, and after awhile I lost the tour guide.. Although there are many steps, they are all well-constructed and safe to descend. The paths are also well maintained, I am lucky as the weather was good and no rain. As long you have your comfortable shoes on, though long and tiring, it is not difficult to complete the hike. Soon you will come across a unique set of buildings and noticed many will stop to 打卡. I realized the buildings were part of a movie named “Curse of the Golden Flower” featuring chow yun fat and gong li. Saw a lady taking a shot with the thumb, nice shot! But I couldn’t get it right. With the help of the tour guide I managed to have a nice shot of a pic holding the 大刀 haha. It was a fun shot. Just before the end of the exit about 500m, there are some buses by the road that can take you uphill if you pay, but I decided to take the steps anyway since I’ve already gone so far. A lot took the bus though haha. The ending is the rewarding one, you will see a row of stalls setting up by mainly local old folks, selling their home grown 土豆 and some oranges. Potatoes are good to fill up the stomach after the long hike and the oranges are so sweet! I have great fun hiking wulong karst and took alot of nice photos. my leg hurts a bit the next day but it’s all good. #chongqing #Longshuixia

Amazing experience going to this UNESCO site. Definitely should visit if you’re heading to ChongQing. I personally took a private Chinese speaking tour mini van go to the location as it was much cheaper than booking online . There are some things like Fairy Mountain which are paired with the trip but the tickets for entry to those area were not included. Overall super fun !#wulongkarst

Fallen Hole Park, Heavenly Bridge Follow the filming location of Transformer 4 🦖🦕 It is a 5A World Natural Heritage Site in Wulong City, Chongqing. When you arrive, you have to queue up to take the glass elevator down. It is like a nature study trail, almost 3 km long. But if anyone can't walk, there will be people carrying palanquins waiting to provide service. 📍The area of ​​the inn is a souvenir shop, coffee, where you can stop and rest. That's my personal opinion only. I booked the tour with the local travel age t at jiefangbei area. I paid rmb360 per pax for transportation, lunch, entrance tickets. Not sure about others. Travel period on oct 2024. The bus took 2 hours drive to reach this place, meet up very early at 6.30 am and back to jiefangbei around 9 pm.

🗻Wulong Day Trip 🗻 If you’re looking for an escape from bustling city life, a day trip to lush, green and historic Wulong might be just what the doctor ordered. Technically still in Chongqing, Wulong is around a 3-4 hour drive from Chongqing city proper. We hired a private driver for the day (from taobao), but there is also a train station there which will take a fraction of the time - you may need to rely on taxis which could be inconvenient. We went to the historical Wulong Tiansheng Three Bridges Scenic Area during the national holiday but it actually wasn’t too busy. The weather was slightly damp but it didn’t put a dampener on our day! And the mist really added to the atmosphere of the place. We entered through Tiansheng Three Bridges Scenic Area Glass Toaotai ticket office which leads onto an overhanging class balcony where you can see the valley below! Not for the feint of heart 😅 Then we walked along the cliff edge path towards the 108m tall elevator which took us down to the valley. The walk is around 3km totally, which is a beautiful, relaxing walk on a paved walkway. The views are stunning and even though I had been here before in 2018, I found it still took my breath away!
