Rarely chartered a car to Ulai in the suburbs of Taipei, after strolling in Ulai Old Street in the afternoon, after trying a variety of Ulai snacks, passing by nearby saw this restaurant crowded, and good reviews, decided to sit down for dinner 😉
There is a slate oven outside the shop, used for cooking food, next to some cooked stream shrimp and fish shrimp platters; heading into the seating area, and upstairs seating ~
The dishes here are cooked in Thai flavor. We have tried a few of their authentic dishes, such as bamboo rice, cat, dragon beard, bitter gourd salted egg, mountain pork and golden needle soup. Bamboo rice is actually quite special, glutinous rice is very smoky, full of aroma, and you can see a layer of bamboo film on the surface of the rice😮 than cat, dragon beard and bitter melon are the mountain vegetables here, the former two look alike, but the taste is a bit different, the former tastes a bit squeaky, the latter tastes a bit shoes🤣
Travel does not have to go to a high-end restaurant to eat to be called enjoyment, sometimes in the countryside is a different experience, so overall, here is a good dining experience, you can taste the special dishes that can not be eaten in the city 👍🏿
