You can take a scenic train from the gate to the waterfall. There are some cafes and restaurants nearby. Also, you can enjoy sailling yayak here. (Sadly, there was heavy rain when I visited this place. I didn't sail yayak.) Don't forget the check the weather hourly! Wulai is a small aboriginal village in Taipei. There are several must-see things in Wulai. Such as Wulai Falls, Hot Spring, Wulai Atayal Museum, Neidong National Recreation Area and more. This place is stunningly beautiful and surrounded by nature. Great for strolling and clearing the mind. I find it nice to practice yoga around the waterfall area, feel the breath entering and leaving your body. Feel the feet connecting to the ground. Focus on those feelings. A trip here is so worth it. it’s take only 40 mins. from Taipei CBD. easy access to public transportation. there are many hot springs house, restaurants and beautiful scenery to visit. we walk through log cart going up to the waterfall and take cabin car to Yunxian Resort. we went there on rainy day so it’s seem like mist town but it’s stunning view when you look down the hill. Wulai is one of my favorite destinations for day trips out of Taipei. It's less than one hour drive by public bus from Xindian MRT 🚇 (the last stop of Green Line). Bus stop right away from MRT exit. Once you arrive at Wulai you will walk through Wulai Old Street, an ideal place to get your lunch or dinner. So many kinds of vegetables 🌺 here, I didn't see and I didn't try before. Here is also a good place for hiking and of course Hot Springs. you can rent hereby hours. I tried to stay one time overnight, but it's a bit boring here. #awesomepic #SummerTrip

Wulai waterfall and hotspring - a short afortable hiking day

Spend for a day to Wulai,Taipei. Take about 2 hours to go and see the beautiful waterfalls! You may walk around wulai old street and taste the foods before heading to the waterfalls! To go to the waterfalls, you will need to Que for a small cute train (50ntd one way) to go to the waterfalls I spent some dollars to see the view of the waterfalls at Three Cafe but i wouldn’t recommend it as it is too pricey and actually you can choose any other cafes and take pictures with waterfall. Then, you might take a cable car to go see the waterfalls and Yun Hsein Resort, there will be a nice view to ride a small boat where you can enjoy the scenery of the lake. I didn’t go as it was raining but if you are interested you may want to go there. I am recommending to take a bus from Chiang Kai Shek bus stop as the people will be crowded for the later bus stop. I went early and decided to take bus from Xindian (last train from green line) and couldn’t take the bus as it was so crowded. Wulai Cable Car • There is a Wulai Cable Car next to the waterfall, which is the first cable car in Taiwan. It can take visitors to the viewing platform above the waterfall for a panoramic view. • The cable car also leads to Yunxian Paradise, which has rest areas and restaurants for visitors to relax. 2. Facilities Around the Waterfall • Trails: There are viewing trails around the waterfall, making it convenient for visitors to admire the waterfall up close and take photos. • Food Stalls: There are many stalls nearby selling local Wulai delicacies, such as wild boar sausages and bamboo rice. 3. Driving • It takes about 1 hour to drive from downtown Taipei. Follow the Beiyi Highway towards Wulai Old Street. 2. Public Transportation • Take the MRT to Xindian Station, then transfer to Wulai Bus 849. After reaching the last stop, walk to the waterfall area. 🔺Best Travel Time • Spring (March-May): Moderate water volume and beautiful scenery. • Summer (June-August): Suitable for cooling off, but be aware of thunderstorms. • Autumn and Winter: Cooler temperatures with less rain, but the waterfall remains spectacular. Take public bus 849 from Shindian mrt (exit turn right). About half hour reach the terminal Wulai. Walk thru the valley reach to the old street. Take the small cute cute train towards the mountain sights seeing for the amazing water fall. Can choose to have a relaxing hot Bath twd300 - twd1200 base on your need. Take a dinner sausage. Bamboon rice. BBQ pork in favour restaurant. Fresh air and good view for this trip. Enjoy and recommend. Save cost travel and relaxing view.#wulaihotsprings

Taipei is one of the most popular places for Hong Kong people to travel, but are you tired of shopping and eating in the city? In fact, Taipei still has some hidden attractions 😝😝 Today I would like to share with you a day trip to Ulai 💕 The transportation from downtown Taipei to Ulai area is convenient, take bus 849 to get there, the journey takes about an hour and a half 😁 Remember to check the schedule in advance, because the bus is relatively sparse, about an hour, so there is no need Waste your time waiting for the bus in vain 👍🏻 After getting off the car, you will see a wooden suspension bridge, you can walk up to visit the scenery on both sides of the river, remember to be careful when walking the stairs, because the steps are in disrepair, uneven, some are more in danger of loosening, so remember to walk carefully 😃 Personally, I suggest you come up to the suspension bridge at sunset to take pictures more beautiful💕 Firstly, the sky is a bit more romantic at dusk, and secondly, there are fewer people. (Train is closed exactly 5pm) Be sure to check the weather before you go, we went there raining so we didn’t enjoy so much.

✅️ Wulai Falls One of the main highlights of visiting Wulai City, it is not far from Taipei, it takes about 1 hour to travel there. I guarantee that it is worth the trip. The waterfall is very beautiful and cool. We like it very much. On the day we went, there were not many people because we arrived in the morning. There are 2 ways to go up to see Wulai Falls: walk or take the Wulai Log Cart, the fare is 50NT per trip. Of course, we chose to take the tram, lol. There is a cafe near the waterfall. They designed the balcony to face the waterfall closely. The atmosphere is very nice and it is worth going in to take pictures. There are many angles to take pictures. Every angle is beautiful. 🚈How to get there 1. Take the MRT green line and get off at Xindian Station, right exit (Starbucks/7-11) 2. Take bus number 849. The bus stop is blocked by stairs. Get off at the last stop.
