The Wujiang River is the largest river in Guizhou. It originates from the Caohai Sea in Weining and traverses northeast Guizhou from west to east before joining the Yangtze River. The dissolving structural landforms in the lower reaches of the Wujiang River and some of its tributaries are canyons, including Wujiangguan, Tiger Leaping Gorge, Yingchou Gorge and other precipitous canyons. Waterfall, forming sixty scenes of the Seven Gorges along the Wujiang River. Wujiangdu is located in Zunyi County, historically known as "the important site of Qianshu" and a battleground for military strategists. In the twenty-eighth year of the Wanli year of the Ming Dynasty (1600 AD), the Ming army conquered Yang Yinglong in Bozhou, and suffered a tragic defeat here. In the early years, Wujiang Ferry was only open to boats. Since the Ming and Qing dynasties, pontoon bridges have been built. After liberation, large-scale highway bridges and railway bridges were built, and China's first limestone landform Wujiang Hydropower Station was built.
