"World's End" in Horton Plains National Park, Sri Lanka, is a spectacular spot with cliffs that spread out at an altitude of about 2,100m 🌄✨ This place, also known as "the end of the world," has a cliff that drops 870m from the feet, creating a magnificent view as if the earth had ended 😲🏞️
To get here, you need to walk about 9km of trekking course 🚶♂️🌿 On the way, you can pass through misty, fantastical forests and grasslands, and encounter Sri Lanka's unique flora and fauna 🦌🐦✨ If you leave early in the morning, you can see a mysterious landscape with a sea of clouds 🌫️🌞
When you stand on the cliffs of World's End, you can see the vast nature of Sri Lanka that stretches into the distance 👀💚 If you're lucky, you can even see the Indian Ocean 🌊 However, after 10am, the view is often obscured by fog, so it's best to visit early in the morning⏰✨
World's End is a place where you can enjoy the overwhelming scale of the scenery and the great outdoors🌍 It's a must-see spot in Sri Lanka where you can truly experience the "end of the world"!

sri lanka rainforest
#globaltravel Sinharaja Forest is the largest lowland rainforest in Sri Lanka. This UNESCO World Heritage rainforest is home to a rich diversity of biological habitats and is bordered by rivers and wildlife. Unlike most Sri Lankan national parks, you can only walk into the Sinharaja Forest accompanied by a guide. The humidity inside is super heavy and it is surrounded by silent tall trees. You keep sweating while walking. It takes about 5 hours to complete a circle, so I only walked the first two waterfalls and then turned back.
