A pure Frozen adventure
Hongdi has opened a new Frozen-themed park, and my second child, who has watched Frozen countless times, has been eager to try it out. This time, we dedicated a whole day just to enjoy the Frozen experience
After entering the park, we first collected a reservation waiting card for the Forest Playground. You can go there at the appointed time, and under Anna's direction, you can hum along to the beautiful song of the Northuldra, 'Eatnemen Vuelie' (although it's only one line ). Then, Elsa will use her magic to let you feel the wonder of the earth, water, fire, and wind spirits.
The new area is actually not very big. My second child immediately took a liking to the mini dolls (not just the kids, I, as a mother, liked them too). They give you a small jar, and you have 5 minutes to fill it up however you like, but in the end, you must be able to close the lid. Sven is really super cute 😍. After filling the dolls, the nearby face painting quickly caught my second child's eye. What else to say, let's get started! After the face painting, we tied our hair with a hairband in the style of Arendelle (quietly saying, that hairband can get a 10% discount at the TikTok boutique with a yearly pass, and after buying it you can come over and pay a styling fee to get your hair done, there's no discount if you buy it on the spot).
After all the dressing up, Queen Elsa suddenly appeared. She came to watch the royal band's performance, and naturally, her appearance attracted many eyes. During this time, a little incident occurred, which inadvertently unlocked a new way to enjoy Frozen for me and made me realize that the world of children is the purest and cleanest. A small friction between the guests and the staff caused Elsa to leave early, and everyone followed the queen, but the band continued to play. At this moment, my second child became their only audience, even the girls of Arendelle exclaimed: 'She's still here, she didn't leave!' My second child was then invited to dance and was accompanied to tour the new area. This may be a promotional method for Frozen, but it definitely works for my second child. She doesn't care about having to play certain attractions or take photos with Elsa and Anna. She can have fun with any citizen of Arendelle, including the chance encounters with Kristoff, Oaken, and the goblins. Perhaps the biggest surprise Frozen offers is that you never know when a character from the movie will appear next to you, and they will interact with you in a friendly manner. My second child is at a disadvantage because she doesn't speak English
There is also a magic show in the new area, where the magician invites a member of the audience to participate in each trick, and the interactivity is quite strong. We went to the attractions quite late, after all, there are fewer people in line later in the day. The Frozen fantasy journey is worth a visit, but every time it ends, you can hear the cries of children; the Snow Ridge ski sled is not as thrilling as the Grizzly Mountain coaster, and it's very short, but riding it at night offers a different perspective to appreciate the scenery of Arendelle.
Since we're here, how can we not visit the Adel Portside Restaurant and the Aurora Candy House? Moreover, as a mother, I have no resistance to anything related to Snow Treasure. However, I generally find the meals at Hongdi to be average. I personally like the cake from Snow Treasure, I forgot the name, and also the chocolate fondue, which is expensive but flawless.
Oh, there's a Frozen World AR in the APP, which features scenes with the goblins and Snow Treasure. We never found Snow Treasure, which is perhaps one of the reasons we could stay for five or six hours, and also a good reason to go back next time.
