#Hiking Wolaksan Yeongbong. After camping nearby, I slept late and started hiking. I drank a lot the day before while camping, so it was very difficult to hike. The trail to Sinreuksa Temple is the shortest. If you go up and down quickly, you can go up and down in 2 hours. It's about 3.6km. The trail is easy to walk until the middle, but the slope suddenly gets very steep from the middle. I had to come down before the sun went down, so I hurried, but the stairs near the end were really steep. Still, I arrived at the summit before the sun went down. What's unfortunate is that I didn't bring a camera at the time, so the only photos I have are captured from GoPro footage. I'm still a photographer. #Wolaksan #Yeongbong #Hiking

Wow, really.. the top difficulty level of Mt. Wolak I crawled up on all fours with the collaboration of the stairs and rocks that were so steep that I could barely stand it..ㅋ But when I was starting to lose my mind, the class of the view of Mt. Wolak suddenly appeared.. 🤭 I climb for this taste💗 I went there in early summer in June, but it wasn't too hot because of the green forest of Mt. I visited during spring, and the entire park was covered in blooming wildflowers, making the hike extra special. The trails here are quite challenging, with steep inclines leading up to Woraksan Peak, but the effort was worth it—the panoramic view from the top was absolutely breathtaking. I also explored some of the park’s historical sites, including remnants of fortress walls and old temples. Since Woraksan isn’t as crowded as some of Korea’s more famous national parks, I really enjoyed the sense of solitude and being immersed in nature. The lake near the entrance was a perfect spot to rest after a long hike. Here is a hiking course that allows you to see the spectacular view of Chungju Lake and the Wol-ak Mountain range at a glance. It is not easy to climb because there are many stairs and the slope is steep, but the scenery is refreshing. If you climb the relatively flat uphill road from the parking lot, you will see a shelter leading to Oksunbong on the left and Gudambong on the right. It takes about 4~5 hours to leisurely walk around Gudambong and Oksunbong, and if you frequently hike the mountain, you can plan for about 3 hours. #Hiking A course that started from Chungju and climbed to Wolaksan Yeongbong I think it took about 5 hours round trip :) I went with friends, and even beginners can climb it without a problem! There are various courses, but if you go to Wolaksan National Park, I recommend climbing the Yeongbong course And it's very cold, so I recommend wearing thin layers!
