Betong Winter Flower Garden
#Rainy season attractions
The South, which has 2 seasons, also has a winter flower garden for visitors. That is ‘Suan Muen Buppha’ or ‘Betong Winter Flower Garden’, located in Piya Mit 2 Village, Betong District, Yala Province. It is the only winter flower garden in the South. Because Betong has a suitable climate, it is cool all year round and has a sufficient water system. Therefore, it is suitable for growing various winter flowers. This flower garden is located in the middle of the mountains, with various flowers planted in rows beautifully, enticing tourists to visit and experience the climate with a lower temperature than other areas in the South.
The flower garden is divided into outdoor flower plots, such as gladiolus, immortelle, marigold, salvia, dahlia, hidden scent, hollyhock, butterfly, peacock, golden chain, Chinese aster, and French celandine, etc., and a greenhouse flower garden with colorful flowers, such as lilies, aster, chrysanthemum, roses, peacocks, gerbera, gladiolus, angel earrings, and many other species. But lilies can only be seen during the winter and during the Betong Flower Festival, which is in January. I guarantee that if you visit here, you will have a lot of photos with flowers to take back.
📍 Suan Muen Buppha is located in Piyamit Village 2, Village 2, Tano Marae Subdistrict, Betong District, Yala Province.
💲Entrance fee is 40 baht per person.
⭐️Inside the flower garden, there are many houses to accommodate tourists and there is also a restaurant. This place is about 19 kilometers from Betong town. Nearby, there is Piyamit Tunnel and Betong Hot Spring, which you can stop by on the same route. It is an option for those who want to sleep in the flower garden and are looking for other places to visit near the flower garden.⭐️
