Stunning white desert in Egypt
1st experience at White Desert, Egypt.
Spent 2 days a night there and it's really a wonderful trip.
During the trip, we visited Black desert and spring water oasis as well. We also enjoyed 4x4 car sand dune on the desert, it was fun and exciting.
During sunset, we played sand boarding and watched beautiful sunset too.
At night we sat surrounded a camp fire amd having our dinner. We were very lucky to see Milky-way on that night and shooting plenty of great photos.
Sunrise was in front of our camping tent the next morning. It is really a stunning view.
There is no toilet and sleeping area for visitors. You can set up your tents anyway.
With tour they have their own specific tent (for kitchen) set, so your sleeping tents will be set up at that area.
There are few landmarks in white desert like 'Mushroom and chicken' stones because the shapes are similar to mushroom and chicken.
This is a good experience and sure memorable.

Mesmerizing White Desert, Egypt
Reflecting on my trip to the White Desert in Egypt, it was quite the journey from Cairo, but the payoff was beyond breathtaking. The unique landscape is truly unparalleled. We were treated to a sunset straight out of a fairy tale and a sky filled with stars at night. Though it was chilly after dark, the experience was unforgettable. I highly recommend it for nature enthusiasts. #Egypt #whitedesert

Scenes not of this Earth
The Black and White Desert in Egypt is a mysterious expanse, half ablaze, half oceanic. The desert surface displays a dichotomy of colors, with one side covered in black volcanic pebbles and the other side in white rocks shaped by erosion, creating a unique landscape of bizarre rock formations and mushroom cloud vistas. This desert is known as a 'landscape not of this Earth.' It exudes an air of mystery and is located near the Nile River. The reason for the Black and White Desert's appearance is that it was once volcanic, which is why it is black. Today, the desert is covered with a layer of black earth stones. The other half dates back to 40 million years ago when this area was an ocean. Over time, the sedimentation of marine life and subsequent erosion formed these strange rock formations. These rocks are all exposed, resembling a white ocean.

The magic of the White Desert 🇪🇬
Prepare to be spellbound by the otherworldly beauty of Egypt's White Desert.
Nestled in the middle of the desert, 45m from Farafra Oasis and 500km from Cairo, the White Desert is a surreal dreamscape of endless chalky landscapes, a place where the ordinary transforms into the extraordinary.
Ghostly white formations rise from the desert floor, resembling fantastical sculptures crafted by nature itself.
As the sun sets, the desert comes alive with hues of gold and pink, painting a mesmerizing canvas in the heart of Egypt.
Explore this ethereal wonderland and let the White Desert cast its enchanting spell on you.
It's a journey you'll never forget

What exactly is a glacier?
What exactly is a glacier? Is it rock 🪨or just ice?🧊
They are, after all, both rock and ice! Glaciers are long-term accumulations of crystalline #ice, snow, rock, and, in certain cases, liquid water that begin on land. They covered one-third of the Earth's surface during the previous Ice Age and currently cover just around 10% of the Earth's surface.
Glacier is not only a magnificent natural wonder, but also a haven for adventure seekers.

One of the most amazing landscapes 😍
Stepping into a very different #Egypt. It felt like we were on another planet.
The White Desert use to be a large sea basin millions of years old. What's left are these massive concentrations of calcium that have eroded over time to create unique structures that are pure white in parts.
At night the animals come out to play, which is amazing considering how arid the land is - another lesson from #nature that it's all about adapting to thrive in life!
Searching in other areas will also give you the opportunity to find a range of fossils.
