First trip of the new year: A reverse trip to Nanjing
Nanjing is a charming city where history and modernity intertwine.
Before the Spring Festival holiday, take your first trip of 2025. Airfare is cheap, attractions are popular but not crowded, accommodation is easy to find, there are no lines at restaurants, and you can have a super comfortable time.
🏨Accommodation: This time I chose the Washington Apartment, which gave me an unexpectedly luxurious and comfortable trip. After booking, the butler provided all kinds of information. As soon as I entered the room, it was spacious, bright, clean, and tidy. The appliances were fully equipped, including a washing machine, refrigerator, microwave, and induction cooker. It was as convenient as being at home but without the hassle. There were also Ferragamo toiletries, and the high-end configuration made me feel pampered. Even washing up became a pleasure. Breakfast was even more amazing, with exquisite meals for each person. The bread was soft, the fruit was fresh, and the drinks were mellow. It was so delicious that I wanted to lick the plate.
🗺️Attractions: Confucius Temple is ancient and bustling, and brightly lit at night. Laomendong is full of Jiangnan style, with white walls, black tiles, and many shops. The Grand Baoen Temple is magnificent and carries a profound history and culture. Zhan Garden is exquisite and elegant, showing the beauty of gardens.
🍱Food: Plum blossom cake is sweet and glutinous, tangyuan is delicate, salted duck is salty and delicious, Luxihe dim sum is rich and delicious, duck blood vermicelli soup is fresh and delicious, and soup dumplings are rich in soup.
Comfortable sleep, a trip without check-ins, and a reverse trip to avoid the peak season make the trip relaxing and comfortable. 😌
