🥘 Food Recommendations
- Sizhao'er Private Kitchen:
A Hangzhou cuisine restaurant recommended by local friends. The braised pork with steamed buns is amazing, and the crispy pork intestines are also good.
- Jinzhongbang Chinese Restaurant:
The double stinky and double fresh dish is a first-time try. The fermented taste is very special, and the stinky tofu and river fresh are well combined.
- Rideming Restaurant:
A small restaurant in a residential area. The crispy pork intestines have no fishy smell, and the fried shrimp is very fragrant.
Come to Hangzhou and experience the unique beauty of autumn! 🍁🍂

Where to enjoy the fall scenery in Hangzhou
Jiuxi Yanshu, also known as Jiuxi Shibajian.
Nine streams, including Qingwan, Hongfa, Tangjia, Xiaokang, Foshi, Baizhang, Yunqi, Zhutou, and Fangjia, flow from Yangmeiling at the foot of Wengjiashan Mountain and converge into a pond at Jiuxi Yanshu. The green pond is surrounded by mountains and vegetation and eventually flows into the Qiantang River.
"Shibajian" is not a real number, but a multiple of "nine" to describe the numerous mountain streams. It originates from the foot of Shifeng Peak in the northwest of Longjing Village and flows into the Qiantang River via Xucun.
The misty scenery is especially beautiful after the rain. The woods on Bajue Mountain are shrouded in mist, and the mountains and rivers are like a fairyland, forming the "Yanshu" landscape.
In autumn, the maple leaves in Jiuxi gradually turn red, from light to dark, until they are as red as fire, intertwined with the still green pines and cypresses. Several maple trees by the water reflect their red shadows in the water, attracting tourists to take photos.
Longjing Village is located upstream of Jiuxi. In autumn, the tea trees turn dark green or light yellow. A few maple and ginkgo trees stand scattered in the tea fields. In the early morning, before the tourists wake up, you can start from Shililangdang, climb the Wuyun Mountain, and enjoy the misty valley.
In the afternoon, return to the West Lake, and visit Pinghu Qiuyue and Huagang Guanyu. The maple leaves and ancient buildings complement each other, adding a touch of poetry and romance. The sycamore leaves on Beishan Road and Yangongdi turn yellow, and the fallen leaves are not swept away, creating a romantic atmosphere. The metasequoia trees in Quyuan Fenghe turn rusty red, reflecting in the West Lake.
Here are three recommended routes for visiting the West Lake in autumn.
🧩North Line of West Lake
Duanqiao Bridge—Bai Causeway—Gushan Island—Xiling Bridge—Beishan Street—Yangongdi—Quyuan Fenghe
The route is about 5–6 km. A quick tour takes about 3–4 hours. If you want to visit Zhongshan Park and Xiling Seal Art Society on Gushan Island, and enjoy the historical buildings on Beishan Street, you will need a whole day.
🧩West Line of West Lake
Shiwudong—Manjuelong—Yangmeiling—Liansi—Jiuxi Yanshu
The route is about 8–10 km on foot. A leisurely stroll takes about 8 hours.
🧩South Line of West Lake
Start from Jixian Pavilion and walk clockwise around the West Lake to Leifeng Pagoda Scenic Area.
The route is about 3.5 km. A quick tour takes about 2–3 hours.

Hangzhou! West Lake! This design hotel is great to stay in.
Hangzhou! West Lake! This design hotel is great to stay in! Just checked out... I can't wait to share that this hotel in Hangzhou has a great location, complete facilities, and warm service.
It was such a great stay that I couldn't bear to check out! !
✅Excellent location
I personally think the location is very good. It is close to Gudang subway station and is convenient for travel.
The hotel is only about 4 kilometers away from West Lake, and a taxi only costs 10 yuan.
It only takes 15 minutes to walk from Zhejiang University Yuquan Campus, where you can enjoy the campus scenery.
✅Complete facilities
The hotel has a large parking lot, which is also very convenient for self-driving tours~
There are also many local snacks and restaurants downstairs - you can get a one-stop solution for eating and drinking.
The hotel also has a robot unmanned food delivery service, which is really good news for a lazy person like me.
✅Warm service
The ladies and brothers at the front desk were very friendly and greeted us politely when they saw us.
We wanted a shower cap when taking a bath, and it was delivered to our room immediately after making the call.
He even helped wash the clothes that had not yet been sent to the laundry room and sent them back to the room! How considerate! ❤️❤️❤️

West Lake, located in Hangzhou, China, is a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the most renowned scenic spots in the country. With its serene waters, lush greenery, and historical significance, West Lake has been the inspiration for poets, artists, and philosophers for centuries.
The lake is surrounded by stunning landscapes, with tree-lined pathways, pagodas, temples, and bridges that enhance its natural beauty. Its tranquil waters reflect the surrounding hills, creating a peaceful and almost otherworldly atmosphere. Visitors can take leisurely boat rides on the lake, admiring iconic sites like the Broken Bridge, which is steeped in romantic legends, and the Su Causeway, a long, picturesque pathway lined with willow trees.
West Lake is particularly famous for its "Ten Scenes," a collection of beautiful vistas that have been admired for generations. These include Leifeng Pagoda, which offers a panoramic view of the lake, and the “Three Pools Mirroring the Moon,” a set of small islands with lanterns that cast glowing reflections in the water. Each of these locations captures a different aspect of the lake’s charm, from the tranquility of its early mornings to the soft, romantic hues of sunset.
The area around West Lake is filled with ancient temples and tea gardens, adding to its cultural richness. Lingyin Temple, one of the most important Buddhist temples in China, is nestled in the hills nearby, offering visitors a spiritual retreat.
Whether it's wandering through flower-filled gardens, sipping tea in traditional pavilions, or simply enjoying the quiet beauty of the lake, West Lake is a timeless, serene escape. Its combination of natural and cultural beauty makes it one of the most enchanting and revered destinations in China.

One day, a thousand years! You won't regret it! A stunning ancient city that Hangzhou locals visit secretly.
I just came back from Hangzhou Songcheng. I was really impressed by the feeling of traveling through time! It's a magical world that takes you back to the Song Dynasty. It's not just a tourist attraction, but a deep cultural experience. Let me share my experience in detail and help you plan a perfect trip to Songcheng!
1. Introduction to the destination: The charm of Songcheng
Hangzhou Songcheng is located in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province. It is a tourist attraction with the theme of Song Dynasty culture, simulating the city, streets, and customs of the Song Dynasty. It is located in the urban area of Hangzhou, not far from West Lake, and is very convenient to reach. Hangzhou has a mild and humid climate with four distinct seasons. Spring and autumn are the best seasons to visit, with moderate temperatures and the most pleasant scenery.
2. Transportation guide: How to get there conveniently?
Flights: It is very convenient to reach Hangzhou from major cities across the country. Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport has many flights. The airport is about 30 kilometers from Songcheng, and it takes about 40 minutes by airport bus or taxi.
Trains: Hangzhou has multiple train stations, including Hangzhou East Station and Hangzhou Station. It is recommended to take Metro Line 1 from Hangzhou East Station to Songcheng. The metro is direct and convenient.
Cars: If you are driving, take the Shanghai-Kunming Expressway (G60) to Hangzhou, and then follow the navigation information to Songcheng.
It is recommended to purchase a transportation card (such as Hangzhou Public Transportation Card), which will make it more convenient to take public transportation.
3. Accommodation recommendations: Comfort and convenience
There are many accommodation options around Songcheng to meet different budgets:
Luxury hotels: Hangzhou West Lake State Guesthouse, with elegant surroundings and first-class service, is only 20 minutes away from Songcheng. Room rates are around 800-1200 yuan/night, suitable for high-end tourists.
Mid-range hotels: Hangzhou Jiangnan Yi Boutique Hotel, with prices ranging from 300-500 yuan/night, well-equipped facilities, and about 15 minutes away from Songcheng, is an ideal choice for mid-range budgets.
Budget hotels: 7 Days Inn Hangzhou Songcheng Branch, with prices ranging from 150-250 yuan/night, good value for money, suitable for budget-conscious tourists.
Booking accommodation online in advance can save you more and ensure a smooth check-in.
4. Food recommendations: Culinary delights around Songcheng
There are many delicious foods to try in and around Songcheng:
Songcheng Food Street: The restaurants here are mostly local, such as Songcheng Baoweilou's Dongpo Pork, Songcheng Snacks' Stinky Tofu, and Shengjian Buns are very popular.
Restaurants by West Lake: I recommend Lou Wai Lou, where the Dragon Well Shrimp and West Lake Vinegar Fish are both representatives of authentic Hangzhou cuisine, and very delicious.
Street stalls: If you like to try authentic snacks, you can try some traditional Hangzhou snacks at the street stalls near Songcheng, such as fried ghosts and Jianbing Guozi.
5. Attractions: Immerse yourself in the world of the Song Dynasty
Songcheng Scenic Area: The main highlights here include the Songcheng Performing Arts Center, Song Dynasty Street District, and Thousand-Year Love Scenic Area. The Songcheng Thousand-Year Love performance at the Performing Arts Center is spectacular, showcasing the style and culture of the Song Dynasty.
Opening hours: Usually 9:00-17:00 daily (performance times are arranged separately).
Ticket price: Scenic area tickets are around 150-200 yuan, and performance tickets are purchased separately.
Song Dynasty Street District: Here, you can stroll through the ancient streets and experience traditional handicraft making and ancient customs.
Thousand-Year Love Scenic Area: This area recreates the life scenes of the Song Dynasty, with a wealth of interactive experiences such as archery and writing.
It is recommended to set aside half a day to a day for sightseeing, arrive as early as possible, and avoid peak hours.
6. Shopping recommendations: Take home a memory of Songcheng
There are many interesting shopping places near Songcheng:
Songcheng Creative Store: Here you can find various Song Dynasty-style handicrafts, ancient custom souvenirs, such as ancient fans, Song Dynasty ceramics, etc.
Shops by West Lake: Such as the West Lake Handicrafts Market, where you can find more Hangzhou-specific souvenirs, such as silk products and tea.
7. Precautions: Ensure your trip goes smoothly
Plan ahead: Popular shows and attractions at Songcheng may have queues, so it is recommended to purchase tickets online and plan your itinerary in advance.
Weather forecast: Hangzhou's weather changes quickly, so check the weather forecast before you go and bring rain gear and sunscreen.
Civilized tourism: Pay attention to maintaining environmental hygiene in the scenic area and abide by local etiquette and regulations.
8. Personal experience sharing: Slow down in Songcheng
The most memorable part of my trip was immersing myself in Song Dynasty culture and feeling the ancient charm. The Songcheng Thousand-Year Love performance was truly a visual and auditory feast. It is recommended to slow down during your visit, savor every detail, experience the style and history of the Song Dynasty, and take some commemorative photos to record the good times.

West Lake First Garden · West Lake State Guesthouse | Building Selection Guide
| Building Selection Guide. West Lake First Garden · West Lake State Guesthouse | Building Selection Guide
The prime location of hotels in Hangzhou, I think, is the West Lake State Guesthouse. Located on the most beautiful west line of West Lake, the lakeshore line is 2 kilometers long, even longer than the Bai Causeway. The entire hotel does not look like a hotel, but more like a West Lake garden.
—
When staying at the West Lake State Guesthouse, I would most recommend Building 2, followed by Buildings 8 and 7. For those with a sense of sentiment and no budget constraints, they can stay in Section B of Building 1.
—
▫️Building 2
Building 2 is surrounded by West Lake water on three sides, which is almost unique on West Lake, making it one of the closest buildings to West Lake. Although it is an old building, it was renovated in 2021, making it new and expensive. The rooms are grand Chinese style, and all have lake views.
—
▫️Building 8
A newly built boutique hotel, the rooms are in a new Chinese style, with SEALLY bedding, down pillows... The rooms are on the first floor and have a small courtyard. Most of the public areas are in Building 8, such as the front desk, gym, swimming pool, and the famous Ziwei Hall, the Western restaurant for breakfast, and the Red Bar for afternoon tea. So staying in Building 8 is the most convenient.
—
▫️Building 7
Also a newly built boutique hotel, built a year earlier than Building 8, so it's a bit older, but quieter than Building 8. Moreover, the lake view rooms in Building 7 offer a distant view of West Lake.
—
▫️Building 1
Building 1 is divided into Section A and Section B, with Section A of Building 1 being the most legendary. The hotel's presidential suite can be stayed in for a price, but Section A of Building 1 cannot be stayed in even if you pay. What can be booked with money is Section B, with only a dozen rooms, and the balcony seamlessly connects to West Lake. Although the room style is old-fashioned, the scenery it offers is unbeatable.
—
▫️Other Buildings of the West Lake State Guesthouse
✔ Building 3: VIP building with garden views, rooms are old-fashioned
✔ Building 5: Garden view king rooms, also the most basic, the West Lake State Guesthouse etiquette class is also in Building 5
✔ Building 6: Divided into South and North buildings, no rooms. It has Lansheng Pavilion (considered an executive lounge), banquet hall, meeting room, G20 exhibition hall, etc.
—
⛵ Yacht
The West Lake State Guesthouse also has a private dock, and instead of a boat, there is a yacht, which should be the only yacht on West Lake, mainly taking the inner West Lake route.
—
🌸 Ziwei Hall
Ziwei Hall is one of the faces of Hangzhou cuisine. As long as it performs well (with prior notice), it is not an exaggeration to say it is the Top 1 in Hangzhou, and the average cost is not high. Compared to Jinsha and Jiexianlou, Ziwei Hall is easier to book, and the West Lake Vinegar Fish is definitely worth a try.

West Lake State Guesthouse - The Premier Garden of West Lake
🌟Highlights:
The West Lake State Guesthouse is located on the west side of the core scenic area of Hangzhou's West Lake, right across from Su Causeway, and within walking distance to attractions such as Quyuan Fenghe and Guo's Villa. Covering an area of 360,000 square meters, the architecture of the guesthouse is grand and exquisite in the style of Jiangnan gardens, with courtyards that embody classical charm. With winding corridors and ever-changing views, it is renowned as the 'Premier Garden of West Lake' due to its profound cultural landscape.
📍Detailed Address: No. 18 Yanggong Causeway, West Lake Scenic Area, Hangzhou
🏨Hotel Environment and Room Facilities:
❤Stay at West Lake State Guesthouse
👍Most recommended: Building No. 2, followed by No. 8 and No. 7. For those who are sentimental and not short on cash, Building No. 1 Yi is the place to stay.
1️⃣ Building No. 2 is surrounded by West Lake on three sides and is one of the closest buildings to the lake. It was renovated in 2021, with rooms featuring a grand Chinese style, all offering lake views.
2️⃣ Building No. 8: A newly built boutique hotel with rooms in a modern Chinese style, SEALLY bedding, down pillows... The rooms are on the first floor and have a small courtyard. Most of the public areas are in Building No. 8, such as the front desk, gym, swimming pool, as well as the famous ZIWEI Hall, the Western restaurant for breakfast, and the Red Bar for afternoon tea. Staying in Building No. 8 is most convenient.
3️⃣ Building No. 7: Also a newly built boutique hotel, completed a year earlier than Building No. 8, it is quieter, and the lake view rooms offer a distant view of West Lake.
4️⃣ Building No. 1 is divided into Part A and Part B, with Part A of Building No. 1 being the most legendary. The hotel's presidential suite is available for a price, but Part A of Building No. 1 is not available for any money. You can only book Part B with money, and there are just over ten rooms, with balconies seamlessly connected to West Lake. The room style is old cadre, but the view is unbeatable.
5️⃣ Other Buildings:
✅ Building No. 3: The VIP building, with garden views, and rooms styled in the old cadre fashion
✅ Building No. 5: Garden view king rooms, also the most basic, and the West Lake National Gift Class is also in Building No. 5
✅ Building No. 6: Divided into South and North buildings, without rooms. It has the Lansheng Pavilion (considered an executive lounge), banquet halls, meeting rooms, and the G20 Exhibition Hall and Gallery
🍚West Lake State Guesthouse's Restaurant: ZIWEI Hall
☎Reservation: Advance phone reservation required
💰Price: Average cost 453¥
The Black Pearl two-diamond restaurant setting is unparalleled, ZIWEI Hall is as beautiful as a painting, dining amidst lotus flowers is absolutely fantastic.

Stay here when you come to West Lake!
1. Location: The location is a double-edged sword. The hotel is located in West Lake, specifically on the less crowded Yanggong Causeway, and you can walk to attractions such as Quyuan Fenghe, Guozhuang, Turtle Pool, Maojiabu, and Bathing in the Pavilion Bay. But! During weekends and holidays, traffic control means you can't drive in via Nanshan Road or Shuguang Road, so we had to drag our suitcases and walk several kilometers after switching from bus to walking to reach the hotel. Additionally, the 2-kilometer lakeshore line offers a view of the inner lake separated by the Su Causeway.
2. Choosing a Building: I stayed in Building 2 this time, where the corner room has a 270-degree window view and a partial view of the inner lake, but it's probably the smallest room. It was renovated in 2021, so the room is new. It's also close to Building 8, just a 3-minute walk away.
Both Buildings 1/2 have separate access control, and many facilities and supplies are consistent. Building 1 is where you check in, while check-ins for other buildings are at Building 8. Building 1 is closest to the lakeshore with the best view; Building 3 is also near the hotel's lakeshore but looks a bit old; Building 5 has a broad view facing a small lake and the Southern Fishing Platform; Building 7 is on the side of Dingjiashan, not far from the lakeshore; Building 6 houses the exhibition hall, library, and afternoon tea; Building 8 is convenient for check-in, dining at the ZIwei Hall and coffee shop (breakfast and buffet lunch and dinner), and accessing the swimming pool and gym. After walking around the garden, I feel that each building's location is quite good, but if you care about the garden's geographical position, just book the cheapest room type (though I don't know what the cheapest rooms are like inside). Overall, Building 8 is the most convenient, especially considering that calling for a shuttle within the garden is really slow. If you have requirements for the scenery and want West Lake right outside your window, choose Building 1.
3. Shuttle Service: It has the same setup as the Wuyishan Chuanbo, but! During the Qingming holiday at Wuyishan Chuanbo, the shuttle arrived quickly every time, and it would stop to ask if we needed a ride if it passed us on the road. This time, staying at the West Lake State Guesthouse on a regular Sunday, I took the shuttle 5/6 times, and each time I waited more than 10 minutes, and the shuttle wouldn't stop when passing by.
3. Service: The staff are very friendly and considerate. After checking in, the shuttle driver took us around the garden to introduce the attractions, and after arriving, they helped deliver the luggage to the room. The cleaning auntie would tell us the best spots for photos when she saw us taking pictures.
4. ZIwei Hall: Due to the rain, it was inconvenient to go out, so we ate at ZIwei Hall twice. The experience was good environment, good service, high price, and ordinary taste. Not used to Hangzhou cuisine, we ended up ordering from the spicy Sichuan and Chongqing page. It's best to make a reservation for dining in advance. If you miss the first round of meals, you can get a number and they will contact you by phone when it's your turn.
5. Breakfast and Afternoon Tea: The breakfast variety is not very extensive, nor is it very delicious. The specialty is Ding Sheng cake. Afternoon tea is included with the room package, and it's quite good. If you just want to visit the State Guesthouse, booking afternoon tea is probably the most cost-effective way.

How to Enjoy Hangzhou in May | Viewing at the Hangzhou West Lake State Guesthouse
May in Hangzhou brings mild air and the greenery by the West Lake is fresh and dewy. Find a quiet pavilion to listen to the gentle patter of rain. The West Lake State Guesthouse is an ideal spot to quietly enjoy the lakeside scenery, taste Hangzhou's special tea and snacks, and relax in comfort.

The retro-style scenic garden, with its ever-spring greenery, is a must-visit place in Hangzhou!
After arriving in Hangzhou, you must stay at a hotel in the West Lake area, it's so beautiful and joyful!
Warm~ A casual snapshot from my phone this morning
Every step is a view, it's true that any random shot is beautiful, sob sob sob
People in Hangzhou are so lucky, they truly live in a painting. Before coming, I saw shares saying the service was not good, which worried me a bit, but that wasn't the case at all!
The staff I met were all so nice, even the delivery guy who came in was exceptionally kind! I've just fallen in love with Hangzhou~
You must stay at a hotel in the lake area, it's so beautiful and joyful!

I am always amazed by the spring of West Lake
This year, the cherry blossoms and crabapple flowers had a short blooming period. Just a few days after they bloomed, they were scattered by the wind and rain of the workdays. By the time I got there, only a few sporadic buds were left, but fortunately, the late cherry blossoms and green peach blossoms were in full bloom.
🍵 At the Lansheng Pavilion of the West Lake State Guesthouse, the fragrance of the early spring Longjing tea
On this trip along the west side of West Lake, I took the opportunity to experience the early spring Longjing tea at the Lansheng Pavilion of the West Lake State Guesthouse. The tea's fragrance is delicate and soft with a hint of sweetness, far surpassing the commercial tea rooms by the lake. The price is slightly higher, but it's worth it for the quality and the tranquil lake view.
Additionally, good news is that the operating hours for the hand-rowed boats in April have been extended to 6:30 am to 6:30 pm. Due to the peak of tourists, the boatmen now eat their boxed lunches on the boat without rest at noon, and the Turtle Pool route is also accessible in the afternoon, unlike before when you could only catch the early bus. For those who want to take a boat to see Turtle Pool, don't miss out. The boarding point is at the southernmost hand-rowed boat dock on Su Causeway, where staff are present to maintain order in the queue. The price is 150 yuan per hour, and the Turtle Pool route takes about 1.5-2 hours. The large boats that can carry 10 people are not allowed into Turtle Pool, so make sure not to board the wrong one.

How to get there?←Important, important, important
This purple magnolia is located at "West Lake State Guesthouse Building No.1"; you can simply navigate there directly. After reaching Building No.1, walk for another minute. Please refer to the last picture, which will tell you how to proceed.
How can you enter?
You can enter for dining, lodging, and other business-related activities. Of course, you can tell the guard that you're going to eat, but if you get delayed by taking photos under the magnificent magnolia, it's also okay not to eat. When to go?
Around March 10th each year, the blooming period lasts for about a week. This year, 2023, the flowers started blooming on March 8th, and there's not much time left. If you're planning to visit, hurry up.

Arriving here, I've witnessed the breathtaking beauty of spring by the West Lake in Hangzhou
The West Lake State Guesthouse covers an area of 360,000 square meters, and its predecessor was 'Liu Zhuang,' one of the 'Four Famous Villas' in Hangzhou. It was built in 1898 as the residence of Liu Xuewen, a Qing Dynasty imperial scholar; the rear courtyard was designed by the renowned designer Dai Nianci, enjoying a 2-kilometer lakeshore line. It is known as 'Hangzhou West Lake State Guesthouse·The Premier Garden by the West Lake,' and can be described as the 'West Lake within the West Lake.'
📍Location: Hangzhou West Lake State Guesthouse·The Premier Garden by the West Lake, No. 18 Yanggong Causeway, West Lake District, Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province
Transportation:
✈️Xiaoshan International Airport, about 55 minutes by car
🚅Hangzhou Railway Station - exit,
🚗about 25 minutes by car Hangzhou East Railway Station, about 30 minutes by car

📸Photography Tips:
1️⃣In the morning, backlighting makes flowers appear more translucent. In the afternoon, direct light is better for photographing people
2️⃣There is a beautiful magnolia tree that is perfect for portrait photography because it's not too tall, allowing for inclusion in the frame
3️⃣Try to choose angles with West Lake as the background, and if a boat passes by, it's the most beautiful
Tour Recommendation
After taking photos, you can walk around the garden of the West Lake State Guesthouse, which is an excellent spot for viewing the West Lake.

Taiziwan Park, Bai Causeway
I arrived in Hangzhou at the end of March and only visited two places: Taiziwan Park and Bai Causeway. Taiziwan Park was crowded with people, and the water was dirty, with only some tulips blooming. In the evening, I had dinner on Santai Mountain Road. The next day, I drove to Bai Causeway, parked the car at the Children's Palace, and walked to the Broken Bridge for about five to six minutes. The weather was overcast with occasional rain, and the crowd was not too dense. The peach and willow trees were in full bloom, and I spent three hours there. I wanted to go to the Xiling Seal Art Society teahouse for a cup of tea, but when I got there, I found it was rented out for a live broadcast, so I had to drive back to Shanghai.

Magnolia blossoms in Hangzhou in March 2024
The spring in Hangzhou is adorned with the pure and elegant magnolias, making the city a unique landscape.
1. **Faxi Temple**: Located on Tianzhu Road in the West Lake District, the 500-year-old magnolia tree complements the temple's yellow walls, creating a Zen-like atmosphere.
2. **West Lake State Guesthouse**: Known for the most beautiful 'King of Magnolias', the pink magnolias face the Leifeng Pagoda, while rowboats gently sway on the lake, forming a picturesque scene.
3. **Xiaoshan District's Xihe Road**: Home to 160 magnolia trees, it is the most concentrated magnolia avenue in Hangzhou, resembling a floating sea of clouds and snowy mountains.
4. **Hangzhou Botanical Garden**: The magnolia avenue here is like clouds, snow, and mist; simply strolling down the road can make one feel endless beauty.
5. **Manao Temple**: In this serene and low-profile temple amidst the hustle, there are two Tianmu magnolias, blooming and falling at will, with a peaceful Zen spirit.
6. **Jinghu Hall**: With its green lawns and 3-4 white Yulan magnolias, it boasts a 100% blooming rate and is a great spot for photography.
7. **China Tea Museum**: The Yulan thatched cottage gives off a feeling of 'Little Kyoto' in Hangzhou, an excellent place for taking fresh Japanese-style photos.
8. **Flower Harbor Watching Fish**: There is a white magnolia scenic path here, not well-known, making it a holy place for photography.
9. **Zhejiang University Zijingang Campus**: The campus has two rows of white magnolias, which bloom with full trees in spring, creating beautiful memories of campus life.
Additionally, places like Prince Bay Park, Yunqi Bamboo Pathway, Huanglong Cave, and Gushan also have patches of magnolia flowers, all of which are must-visit spots for flower viewing.
The bustling and prosperous spring of Hangzhou is about to begin, and these magnolia viewing spots are definitely the places to go in spring. Thank you for sharing, and I hope everyone can find their own little piece of beauty in Hangzhou's spring.

Places in Hangzhou that you must not miss!
This time I went to Hangzhou for a weekend break, the main purpose was to go to Faxi Temple to fulfill a vow, I chose a hotel not far from Faxi Temple, a two-day mini vacation, looking for a place to relax, I can only say that the West Lake State Guesthouse is too stunning! I have set a small goal of staying once a year, and I also want to bring my parents together.
Service facilities: First of all, the service is impeccable, reaching the expected standard, the hotel staff are warm and friendly, the hotel facilities are not as old as imagined "State Guesthouse", we stayed in the second building, taking the route of high-end boutique hotels, with Bulgari amenities, the overall is a new Chinese-style light luxury style, there are many interesting detail designs, super in line with the aesthetics of young people. Worth mentioning is, we checked in a bit late on the first day, the second building only had the last room near the elevator left, the sound insulation of the hotel room is a bit disappointing (one of the few places that need to be complained about), the sound in the corridor is quite obvious, so I called the front desk to request a room change, learned that the rooms were full, but they could change us to a room on the second floor the next day, after changing the room the next day it was just great! Closer to the lake, and there is a balcony, where you can sit and chat while drinking tea, the scenery outside is just too comfortable! Environment
As the most proud signboard of the West Lake State Guesthouse, it is its unique West Lake C-position beauty, opposite is the Leifeng Tower and Sudi, in the hotel you can enjoy the first-line scenery without crowding, enjoy the West Lake, you can stroll for half a day, although there are not many flowers and trees in winter, but the greening is still very carefully unique, especially when the weather is good, you can stroll in the hotel and sunbathe for half a day.

Hangzhou West Lake State Guesthouse·The First Garden of West Lake
❤Recommended reason:
The predecessor of Hangzhou West Lake State Guesthouse was built by private gardens such as Liu Zhuang and Kang Zhuang. Liu Zhuang is the manor of Liu Xuequn, a scholar in the late Qing Dynasty, and Kang Zhuang is the former residence of Kang Youwei. It was later redesigned by the famous garden design master Mr. Dai Nianci. The buildings in the courtyard are exquisite, with bamboo corridors and different steps.
🌟Highlight features:
The West Lake State Guesthouse is located in the core of West Lake and is known as the "West Lake in West Lake". It backs on the mountain and faces the lake, with more than 2,000 meters of lake shoreline. You can view the "Sudi Chunxiao" up close, overlook the "Leifeng Xizhao" from afar, walk to the "Flower Port Watching Fish" and "Quyuan Fenghe", and drive to all the attractions in Hangzhou conveniently. The guesthouse has a high style, a view from the window, and is warm and comfortable.
🏨Hotel environment:
1. Pavilions, small bridges and water pavilions, bamboo corridors, ancient trees and strange stones, all in sight.
2. Looking east, the ten miles on the lake are in sight.
3. It used to be a state guesthouse for national leaders, and there are many footprints of Mao Zedong.

There is a red maple in Hangzhou that is even more beautiful than the Ruriko-in Temple
These days, I am really intoxicated by the autumn colors of Hangzhou🍁
I am struck by the beautiful scenery every day. I can tell you from personal experience that you will regret not visiting West Lake
or staying at this hotel hidden in West Lake.
I once had afternoon tea at the West Lake State Guesthouse in the summer
and thought the environment was very chill.
I didn't expect that this is the best way to experience it.
The whole garden is like a spilled palette🎨, full of colors.
I even found a red maple forest that is more beautiful than the Ruriko-in Temple in Kyoto.
The best part is that no one is fighting with you for a spot. You can take pictures📷 as you please and no one will bother you.
The hotel also has a private 2km lakeshore line. No one is fighting with you for West Lake.
Don't love it too much.
Here are a few lesser-known check-in spots that I highly recommend.
Once I posted them on my Moments, I was bombarded with questions‼️Hurry up and save them🐎
❶The red maple forest next to the parking lot🅿️ of Building 1. These trees are tall and the colors are beautiful. There is a green glazed corridor that can give you the feeling of the Ruriko-in Temple.
❷There is a white stone bridge near the West Lake of Building 2️⃣. The Leifeng Tower is right in front of it. You can take a picture with the Leifeng Tower on the bridge.
❸The floating bridge near the south gate. There is a tree🌲 leaning in the lake. It's very picturesque when taking photos📷.
❹The lobby and garden of Building 8️⃣ are very beautiful. You can take a picture by the window.
The view from the balcony on the second floor of the guest room is a yellow Sapium sebiferum tree and red maple. It's beautiful to take pictures on the balcony.
❺Don't miss the afternoon tea☕️ at Liu Zhuang. It's also a great place to watch the sunset over West Lake.
❻The road next to the charging station for the tram next to Building 8️⃣. The red maple trees along the road are in full bloom. It's great for taking road photos.
Take my advice❗️After seeing the lake and garden views of the West Lake State Guesthouse, this No.1️⃣ garden,
you really don't need to go to other scenic spots in West Lake.

Linger in the first garden of West Lake
Hangzhou West Lake State Guesthouse has a long history, pleasant scenery, and is breathtakingly beautiful. It can be described as the first garden of West Lake, where you can feel the paradise of Hangzhou in the poems of literati and ink guests, pavilions, small bridges and flowing water, towering trees... as if you are in a Jiangnan scroll. The hotel faces West Lake on one side, and the opposite is the Su Causeway, watching the crowds of tourists, without going out and squeezing people. The garden is very quiet, with good scenery, beautiful plant shapes and colors, and a large area of green grass. The most important thing about the West Lake State Guesthouse is the word 'state'. It has received many famous people from home and abroad, and you can feel the once glorious time here.
