[2025 Bali ] Travel Guide for Waterbom Bali (Updated Apr)

Totally and utterly wonderful. Most people book online before arrival but you can buy an entry ticket at the gate. Plan on spending about $100 per person as entry is $50 , locker, towel hire, food, surfing, photos are all extra if you want them. Great showers in the main bathroom. There are lots of staff taking photos and they give you a wrist band to track it. Then on the way out you can buy if you like. $40 for all digital pics. They say not to wear swimmers with any metal on them, tags, little hole ring things in your pockets to let the water out. They were not too strict but maybe just check.

Bali Waterbom Water Park is located on the south side of Kuta Beach and is Asia’s number one water park. The park has a variety of slides, high-altitude high-speed waterslides, multi-lap multi-person waterslides, surfing, children's water playground, rafting river and swimming pool. Among them, the high-speed slide washed down at 70 kilometers per hour is really very exciting and addictive, bold friends must play oh! My favorite is the rafting river. The rafting river surrounded by trees has a Bali vacation feeling. Being in it will really relax and relax. Friends who like to play in the water really have to come here! #Playful Traveler #Bali

Waterboom!! It opens at 10 but we arrived at 10:30 There are a lot of people. If you come late, there are no sunbeds. It's better to go early. There are a lot of rides. It's a lot of fun because we're going during lunch time. The watermelon juice is delicious. They also sell beer, so it's very good I paid cash when I came in and bought lunch. It was a fantastic laid out Waterpark in lush grounds where everywhere you walked felt secluded yet part of a great fun day. We hired a private cabana which was equipped with sun lounges, a safe and in beautiful quiet lush Bali surrounds. Food/drinks were top quality and plenty of choice. Hardly any waiting times as the park has a limit, so no overcrowding. Life guards and attendants everywhere, every ride runs smoothly. I saw a private ambulance parked at the back, so they obviously are perfectly equipped for any emergencies although I couldn't see any reason for accidents. Rides for adults, big kids and rides for toddlers too. Easy to book in advance but I would book early to get a cabana as they go quickly. Plenty of sun lounges available if you don't want to hire a cabana. No rubbish left anywhere, the grounds are immaculate. You can hire towels there although we hardly used ours as we were on the rides constantly and with the beautiful weather you dried off quickly. The hardest part was walking up the towers to the top of the slides, but if was good exercise. Overall experience was positive, great slides for all ages. However the slides more suited to a younger age group had quite a long line. Food was also on the more expensive side and you are not aloud to take any of your own food in so you are forced to spend a lot of money just to eat. #happynewyear

After eating breakfast, I headed to Kuta Beach and Discovery Mall to go to Waterbom Park. It is located in the city, so it is very accessible, but it is a little further down, so if you go in the morning, it would be better to take a taxi. By the way, in front of Discovery Mall, there is a huge traffic jam with motorcycles and taxis around 4 o'clock. Even the locals are amazed by the traffic jam. I arrived at Bali's only water park. It is not as big as Caribbean Beach or Ocean World, which we think of, and it does not have many rides, but it is a water park that has a uniquely Southeast Asian feel. There are really no people, so you can ride all the slides in 5-10 minutes after waiting in line. There are many resting areas in the water park, but unlike in Korea, everything here is free. If you are tired of the ocean or the swimming pool at your accommodation, it is worth going once. The morning is better than the afternoon, but it was also great because there were not many people in the afternoon. You cannot buy food with money inside Waterbom Park, but you can charge your band at the top-up area and use it. By the way, you should bring your own towels and storage space since you have to pay for them.

I visit Bali regularly, so my trips are less about sightseeing and more about living like a local — soaking up the sun, chilling by the pool, and most importantly… eating! Amazing cabaret vibes, great cocktails. Day 6 – Dinner at Nostimo Greek Grill – our go-to for hearty, flavour-packed food. Day 7 – Spent the day at Waterbom Bali in Kuta – still one of the best water parks I’ve ever been to! Day 8 – Wrapped the day with a rib feast at Naughty Nuri’s in Seminyak. Day 9 – Brunch at The Coffee Shop (get the crepe!) then a tattoo session at Ruko Three in Berawa before flying out. ⸻ 📣 TIPS FROM A BALI REGULAR (AUD prices) Gut Health Musts: • BioCeuticals Travel Bug + Florative – total game-changers for preventing traveller’s diarrhoea and keeping things moving (pun intended). • $50 for the 120-pack (grab it at Chemist Warehouse before you go). • Travelan – Take one right before each meal. A great backup if you’re not using Travel Bug. • Around $30 for 30 tabs. Mosquito Repellent: • Soffel Cream or Spray – You’ll find it in any minimart in Bali for like 80 cents. The spray is my fave for quick coverage. Sun Protection: • Bring your own sunscreen! It’s super expensive over there ($15–$20 a bottle). Hand Sanitiser: • Trust me, you’ll want several. I prefer sprays and use it before, after, and sometimes during meals. No shame. Hydration & Health: • Hydralyte – In case you do catch a bug, keep these handy. • And no, we don’t call it “Bali Belly” – it’s just your gut adjusting to new bacteria. Money & Transport: • Wise Card – Tap to pay almost everywhere, high exchange rates, and works seamlessly with Gojek and Grab (Bali’s Uber/Uber Eats). • Cash – Still needed in a few places. I loved the lush tropical surroundings and the friendly staff who ensured our safety and fun. The kids' favorite was the Macaroni Tube slide, while I enjoyed the relaxing oasis of the Jungle Spa. Waterbom is a large-scale water park like our country's Caribbean Bay. There are many types of slides and it is open all year round so it is not crowded. You can ride unlimited slides without waiting. There are slides that are scarier than the Aqua Loop at Caribbean Bay. ㅎㄷㄷ In addition to the slides, the pool bar and adult pool are also very well-made, so it was a much better healing spot than other hotel pools. Have a great time here exploring what Waterbom Bali can offer. They have very interesting contactless payment using waterproof wristband made from rubber which helps a lot to buy foods.
