Tourist attractions - Ho Trai Klang Nam, Wat Thung Si Mueang, is located in the heart of Ubon Ratchathani city. It was built during the reign of King Nangklao. It is one of the most important temples in Ubon Ratchathani Province. Inside the temple, there are many beautiful architectures. Let's start with "Ho Trai Klang Nam", a Tripitaka hall made of wood in the middle of a pond. It is a combination of Thai, Laotian, and Burmese art. That is, the building is a central Thai house with a high floor. The walls are made of smooth wooden panels with a lid-clamping mechanism. Inside, there is a cabinet for storing dharma, lacquered and gilded. The roof is a gable in Thai and Burmese art, similar to Chiang Rung architecture. There are gable decorations, bai raka, naga sadung, and hang hong. The upper part of the roof is 2-tiered. The carvings on both sides of the front are in Laotian art. The lower part of the roof is carved in the shape of animals representing the zodiac. There are also wooden supports for the eaves carved in the shape of deities in front of the 2 doors. The rest are in the shape of nagas all around. #NortheasternTeam

A must-see is the Thai, Burmese, and Laotian art library in the middle of the water that received an award for outstanding conservation. It is the most beautiful and complete library in the lower northeast.
Worship🙏Phra Chao Yai SiMueang. It looks very reverent. And worship the replica of the Buddha's footprint for good fortune.

Wat Thung Si Mueang, Ubon Ratchathani Province
Wat Thung Si Mueang is located on Luang Road, Tambon Nai Mueang, Amphoe Mueang, Ubon Ratchathani Province. It was built around 1842 during the reign of King Rama III. It is a beautiful, clean and peaceful place, suitable for worshiping, meditating or walking around the temple. The actual area is quite large.
In the temple, there is a 🛖🛖 Ho Trai Klang Nam or Ho Phra Tripitaka, which is a wooden Ho Trai building located in the middle of a pond. It is strikingly beautiful and was built to store the Tripitaka and palm leaf books so that they would not be eaten or destroyed by ants or insects.
For those who like to make merit, don't forget to stop by and pay homage. 😊 #Thung Si Mueang #Ubon Ratchathani Province #Beautiful temples in Ubon Ratchathani #Make merit and worship
