Wat Tham Khuhasawan - View of the Mekong River and the Big Gong
It is considered another important cultural and natural tourist attraction of Ubon Ratchathani Province. The temple is located on a plateau on the banks of the Mekong River, allowing a beautiful view of the Mekong and Mun Rivers flowing together, creating a beautiful two-colored river. Inside the temple, there are other interesting sculptures that attract tourists, such as the all-white ordination hall with intricate patterns, the golden Phra Dhamma Chedi Sri Traibhum, the Tham Khuhasawan cave where the body of Luang Pu Kham Khaning Chulamani, the temple founder, is enshrined, and a beautiful viewpoint of the Mekong River.
The most outstanding highlight is probably the large gong standing tall in front of the entrance, which is considered the largest gong in the world. Tourists often stop by to take pictures. In addition, the area around the temple is decorated with gardens of various tree stumps and many flowers, making it shady and pleasing to the eye. There are places selling food, drinks, and souvenirs.
In addition to the entrance in front of the large gong, there are also stairs that can be walked up from the Khong Chiam district side. Anyone who visits Khong Chiam should not forget to stop by to pay homage to the Buddha and make merit. Or stop by to see the view.

Grandfather Khamkaning Chulamani
Luang Pu Khamkaning Chulamani, although he passed away, his body did not decompose. The temple still preserves his body for Buddhists to pay homage to. Inside the temple, there is a large gong and a pagoda. Wat Tham Khuhasawan was built in 1978 by Luang Pu Khamkaning Chulamani, a monk who used the cave, which is a rocky outcropping, as a place to practice Dhamma. Later, more people became devoted to it, so the area around the mouth of the cave and the temple were renovated to make it more suitable for practicing Dhamma.
