"Wat Rong Suea Ten" According to the legend passed down by word of mouth, it is said that the origin of the name of this temple comes from the villagers who live in that area or anyone who passes by the Kok River often sees tigers jumping across the canal, which is the origin of the word "Rong Suea Ten"
The highlight of Wat Rong Suea Ten that can be clearly seen is the temple's temple Built and designed by a local Chiang Rai artist named Salanok, the temple took 11 years to complete.
Inside is the white pearl Phra Phuttha Ratchamongkhon Bodi Trilokanat, with approximately 88,000 Phra Rod Lamphun amulets. Many gems, silver, and gold are buried under this Buddha statue. The Buddha's head contains the relics of the Lord Buddha, which were bestowed by His Holiness Somdej Phra Yanasangwon, Somdej Phra Sangharaj Sakol Maha Sanghaparinayok. It was also given the name Ratchamongkhon Bodi Trilokanat, which means "The Lord Buddha is the auspicious king, the refuge of the three worlds."
"Wat Rong Suea Ten" was built from the beliefs and faith of Mr. Salanok, who was inspired by Ajarn Thawan and Ajarn Chalermchai.
