Racha Bobbito Monastery is a royal monastery built by King Rama V in more than 20 years. The walls of the main hall are covered with ceramic tiles from China, the window frames are inlaid with ivory decorations, and crystal chandeliers hang inside. The architectural style of the entire monastery reveals the unique feeling that Rama V, who visited the Palace of Versailles, was good at innovation on the basis of absorbing Western architectural elements. The monastery perfectly integrates the culture of Thailand and Europe, and can be regarded as a masterpiece of art in Buddhist monasteries. There are four Buddha statues in the temple, each facing the cardinal point. Starting from the circular corridor under the base of the stupa, there is the main hall in the north, the main Buddha hall in the south, and two smaller Buddha halls on the east and west sides, which is an unusual layout in Thai temple architecture. The combination of Eastern and Western architectural styles permeates the entire building of Racha Bobitaw Temple. The 10 door panels and 28 window panels of the main hall are beautifully carved and inlaid with the classic Thai mother-of-pearl, which represent the five Royal Medal. The seal of the king is also engraved on the eaves, and the guards on the door are obviously European. The interior decoration is also in Italian Renaissance style, which is slightly inconsistent with the overall architectural style of the temple. The tall stupa surrounding the middle is the characteristic of this monastery.

🌈 Wat Ratchabophit Sathitmahasimaram
After recharging our energy in the morning, we continued our walk to Wat Ratchabophit Sathitmahasimaram, or Wat Ratchabophit for short. This temple was built during the reign of King Rama V and was the home temple of King Rama V and King Rama VII.
When we entered this temple, we felt that it was unlike any other temple in Bangkok. What we particularly liked was the large pagoda that was the main structure, or the Phra Maha Chedi, decorated with Benjarong tiles all over the body, which was very beautiful and grand.
🕒: Every day from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
🚗: You can park your car at the J Park parking lot at the Giant Swing (30 baht per hour).

Wat Ratchabophit Sathitmahasimaram
Worship and pray at “Wat Ratchabophit Sathit Maha Simaram”
I believe that if we talk about beautiful temples in Thailand, this temple must be in the top rankings.
The temple was built since the reign of King Rama V in the Rattanakosin era, but everything still looks beautiful as if it were new.
The outside is Thai, but when you go inside, you will feel the art of the Western world that is perfectly blended.
The highlight of this temple is the large pagoda in the middle of the temple. It is both large and magnificent. Looking from the outside, you can see it. The surrounding area of the temple itself is also interesting. It is a wide lawn that curves to fit the temple.
If anyone wants to visit, I recommend coming during this time. There are fewer people and it is quiet. You will have time to fully appreciate the beauty.
Come on, really. Thai temples are very beautiful. If anyone comes here and still has time, we can walk to Wat Phra Kaew. It is very close. #Bangkok attractions

Invite to make merit, walk and see Wat Ratchabophit, a temple in Bangkok.
#GetDiscountsWithoutLuck
I had the chance to be a bridesmaid at Wat Ratchabophit and I have to say, wow! This temple is so beautiful. Just walking in, you can feel the magic and intricacy of the architecture that perfectly blends Thai and European styles. The chapel is so neat. The details are premium, both the tile patterns and the carvings.
In addition to the grandeur of the temple, the atmosphere is very peaceful. It is suitable for those who want to worship, meditate, or just walk around and enjoy the beauty. If you have never been here, you have to try it once. I guarantee that you will fall in love for sure!
🏖️ Environment/Facilities: You can park outside, which is quite a distance away. There is a parking lot.
💞 Recommended reason: Very beautiful architecture. Or you can wear a Thai dress to make merit, which is another cool way.

Experience the Majestic Beauty: A Visit to Wat Ratchabophit
Recently, I had the privilege of visiting Wat Ratchabophit in Bangkok, a Buddhist temple rich in history and culture. As I entered the temple, the first thing that caught my eye was the magnificent golden chedi, shining brightly and showcasing the power of faith. The architectural style within the temple is distinctly Thai, with intricate carvings and vibrant colors that left me in awe. I particularly enjoyed visiting the main hall, where the solemn and serene Buddha statues imparted a profound sense of peace. I also participated in the traditional blessing ceremony, praying to Buddha for blessings and feeling a sense of spiritual cleansing. The sunlight that day bathed the temple surroundings, making the entire environment feel especially sacred. This visit not only allowed me to appreciate Thai architectural art but also gave me a deeper understanding of the allure of Buddhist culture, leaving me with a greater admiration for Bangkok.

A Journey Through the Fusion of Bustle and Ancient Charm
Day 1: A Tranquil Stroll Through the Ancient City
The first stop of our journey is Wat Ratchabophit, hidden in the alleys of Bangkok. This temple, which blends traditional Thai and European styles, is famous for its golden exterior and exquisite tile decorations. Upon entering the temple, you are immediately drawn to the central stupa, which shines with enchanting golden light. The murals in the surrounding corridors intricately depict Thai mythology, offering a perfect combination of religion and art. In the afternoon, we head to the Temple of the Emerald Buddha to experience the royal atmosphere of Thailand. The solemn and mysterious Emerald Buddha inside the temple attracts a continuous stream of devotees, inspiring awe in all who visit.
Day 2: Harmony Between Urban and Traditional
The second day is more leisurely. We head to the banks of the Chao Phraya River and take a boat ride to enjoy the scenery on both sides. Along the way, traditional stilt houses and modern buildings create a striking contrast. Next, we visit the Bangkok Art and Culture Centre to experience the creativity and vitality of contemporary art. In the evening, we return to the riverside, dine at an open-air restaurant, and savor Thai cuisine. The river sparkles under the lights, reflecting the dual charm of Bangkok's ancient and modern allure.

Cafe with a view of Wat Ratchabophit...on a rainy day
#CafeReview
A cafe that I intended to visit because the popular corner with the backdrop is
Wat Ratchabophit. The sky was kind, ordering heavy rain to make us sit at a table that is the hardest to book. The view of the temple behind may not be clear from the heavy rain, but it gives a mood to sit at a cafe with a different feel of Phra Nakhon than before. It has a sense of magic, vintage, and classic in a perfect way.
IM En Ville, a cafe in the old city area that revived
An old printing house into a very hip cafe. There are both upper and lower floors for sitting and eating food and drinking. It is suitable for sitting and chilling while absorbing the atmosphere of the inner city. Cafe lovers must come here. It is very beautiful.
Highlight
Red sofa table, a million-dollar view that everyone must get a picture from this angle.
I recommend coming in the morning when the shop just opens. I guarantee that you will get a great, great, and magnificent picture for sure.

Visiting Temples in Phra Nakhon District
Today, I planned to explore the inner Phra Nakhon district. One of the must-visit places, despite the heavy rain, is Wat Ratchabophit Sathit Maha Simaram Ratcha Wora Viharn, commonly known as Wat Ratchabophit. Located in Phra Nakhon, Bangkok, this temple is renowned for its unique blend of Thai and Western architectural styles.
Key architectural highlights:
Main Chapel and Viharn: Adorned with colorful mosaic tiles imported from abroad and intricately carved gold patterns.
Great Chedi: A bell-shaped chedi in the Sri Lankan style, situated in the center of the temple, serving as a prominent and beautiful symbol.
Surrounding Pavilions: The pavilions encircling the main chapel are decorated with exquisite and intricate Thai art patterns.
After witnessing the beauty of Wat Ratchabophit, as a Thai, I feel deeply moved and proud of this national heritage and religious site.

A temple that exudes a solemn atmosphere.
It appears to be a royal temple established by King Rama V in 1869. The pagoda is characterized by its decoration with five-colored mosaic porcelain. While the main hall is built in Thai architectural style, upon entering, one can also notice Gothic-style decorations, giving it a somewhat European feel. The intricate and beautiful craftsmanship in every detail captivates the viewer's heart, making one want to stay and meditate here forever. It is a quiet place suitable for contemplation.

#songkran2024
The Songkran Water Festival is actually a celebration of the Thai New Year. The national holiday of Songkran is officially on the 13th of April each year, but the celebrations last for 3 days from April 13 to 15, happening all across Thailand.
The Traditional Way To Celebrate Songkran In Thailand Is: Visit A Buddhist Temple🛕🇹🇭✨. Songkran is essentially a Buddhist festival and is traditionally celebrated by visiting a temple in the morning of Songkran Day (Apr 13).
Some temples organize a ceremony in Songkran Day, Which you can pour water on the hands of the temple monks and receive blessings from them. This time i visited the beautiful and amazing temple named: Wat Ratchabophit.
My trip during #Songkran2024 was sponsored by Trip.com , Join me to share your Songkran Adventure🇹🇭✨ https://www.trip.com/t/yA83jQzHgS1

Wat Ratchabophit, near the grand palace, worth a visit, its unusual shape and decorations are really beautiful, and it’s only a short walk from the palace. Not a touristy place, I was the only one there. It’s a royal wat, and there are some royal funeral monuments outside as well.
