Phra That Doi Kham, Luang Por Tan Jai, Chiang Mai Province
Wat Phra That Doi Kham is located in Mae Hia Subdistrict, Mueang District, Chiang Mai Province. It is a famous temple for making wishes and making vows, and is an important temple in Chiang Mai Province. It is over 1,300 years old. It is located in Doi Kham, behind Royal Park Rajapruek, about 15 kilometers from the city. According to history, in 1966, Wat Doi Kham was an abandoned temple. Later, the crypt was broken into and villagers found many antiques, such as Phra Rod Luang, a large gold-covered sandstone Buddha, and Phra Sam Mo (made of clay), which were enshrined at Wat Phra That Doi Kham. In addition to being a place of worship for local people, Phra That Doi Kham is also another symbol of Thai Airways, which is used to define the visual area before landing at the airport. The highlight of this temple is coming to make wishes to Luang Por Tan Jai, who is believed to grant wishes. Therefore, it is not surprising to see many devotees queuing up to make wishes. How to make wishes from Luang Por Phra Chao Tan Jai and have them come true
To pray to Luang Por Phra Chao Tan Jai, light 3 incense sticks, chant Namo 3 times, then say the mantra “Om Namo Putthaya Ya A Sa Su Mang Cha Pa Ka” and tell us your name. My name is………. and tell us the story in detail.
Then tell Luang Por Phra Chao Tan Jai to help me succeed immediately. When I succeed, I will come to offer 50 jasmine garlands or more. If you want to give more, tell him the amount you want to offer.
To fulfill your vow, do the same thing as the first time. Then tell him that I have brought jasmine flowers to fulfill my vow as I promised. Please accept them. Amen, amen, amen.
