Historic buildings
One of the more famous temples in the Aranyik site was built in the Sukhothai era. At that time, the walls of the temple were once carved with statues of reclining Buddhas, walking Buddhas, sitting Buddhas and other Buddha statues, but now there is only a standing Buddha about 9 meters high. Here you can see the restoration map of the building, which was still very spectacular back then.

Wat Phra Si Iriyabat or Wat Phra Yuen is located in Kamphaeng Phet Historical Park. It was built around the 20th-22nd Buddhist century. It is a large temple and has a unique ancient site, the Phra Si Iriyabat Pavilion.
This ancient site is unique in that each direction houses four Buddha images or four postures: standing (Phra Si Iriyabat), walking (Phra Lila), sitting (Phra Mara Vijaya), and reclining (Phra Saiyasat). Currently, only the standing (Phra Si Iriyabat) remains, which is in a relatively complete condition compared to the other postures. The face is in the style of Sukhothai Buddha images in Kamphaeng Phet style, with a wide forehead and a pointed chin. - Phra Maha Viharn is a large chapel located at the very front. The chapel is situated on a two-tiered base. The lower base is made of laterite and is a lotus-shaped base with a chicken breast shape around the circumambulation area. Decorated with laterite railings around the base of the upper part of the temple, there are porches in both the front and back. On top, there is a monk's seat and a base for placing Buddha images. - The laterite cutting pond is located in front of the temple. It is a pond used to cut laterite into various shapes before using it to build the temple.

Phra Si Iriyabat Temple
Phra Si Iripatha, Kamphaeng Phet Province
🌿🍀🌳 is a group of large Buddha images in Sukhothai art, built together with the four Buddha images facing each other. It consists of Buddha images in walking, standing, sitting and lying postures. It has a brick and mortar bearing core that is a type of building.
Phra Buddha in the walking posture is enshrined on the east side.
Standing Buddha image on the west wall.
Reclining Buddha image on the north side.
Sitting Buddha image on the south side.
🌱🌿🌳 The belief is based on the Suttanta Pitaka, Digha Nikaya, Mahavagga, part of which mentions Kayanupassana Satipatthana, which is the use of mindfulness to contemplate the body as an object. The construction of Phra Si Iripatha as a large group of Buddha images may have been intended to clearly show how large the Buddha's body was when he was alive. And what activities did he do in his daily life?
