Short Trip to Wat Pho, Bangkok 🇹🇭
It was a short trip to Wat Pho, Bangkok 🇹🇭 We recently visited Wat Pho again, one of Bangkok’s most famous temples, and it was an unforgettable experience! Known for its giant reclining Buddha, intricate architecture, and peaceful courtyards, this temple is a must-visit for anyone traveling to Bangkok 🙌
We arrived at Wat Pho early in the morning ⛅️(around 8 AM) to avoid the crowds and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. Walking through the ornate temple gates, we were immediately amazed by the golden rooftops, detailed murals, and towering stupas. The soft morning light ✨ made it the perfect time for capturing stunning photos 📸
One of the highlights of our visit was seeing the Reclining Buddha, a 46-meter-long golden statue that symbolizes peace and enlightenment 🙏 The best spot for photos is near the Buddha’s feet, which are decorated with intricate mother-of-pearl inlays. After that, we explored the temple courtyards, where you’ll find hundreds of golden Buddha statues, colorful stupas, and detailed mosaics, all perfect for photography 📸
After exploring the temple, we decided to try a traditional Thai massage 💆♀️ at Wat Pho Thai Traditional Massage School, located inside the temple grounds. Wat Pho is actually the birthplace of Thai massage, and the experience was both relaxing and rejuvenating, a perfect way to unwind before continuing our Bangkok adventure 💯
