It was renovated around 2372 - 2375 B.E. in the reign of King Rama III. It is a white temple decorated with a little gold, making it look clean. Inside the temple, there are important religious objects and permanent structures, including a large white three-spire prang, the ordination hall built in Chinese art, enshrining Phra Siddhartha or Luang Pho Somprathan, which is the principal Buddha image in the chapel, with a very beautiful Buddha image. People often come to pay homage. The atmosphere here is considered good, quiet, and very suitable for meditation.
