#GetDiscountsWithoutLuck
🏡Wat Phayap, a third-class royal temple, was founded in 2200. It is an ancient temple. It is not possible to find out the history of who built it. When King Narai completed the construction of Nakhon Ratchasima, he ordered the restoration of the six temples in the city walls of Nakhon Ratchasima, of which Wat Phayap is one of the six.
🌳Wat Phayap is located within the city walls, to the northwest of the city pillar, so it is called Wat Phayap and was established as a royal temple in 2551.
Other important and interesting things in the temple include:
🏠Ubosot, made of marble, applied architecture, late Ayutthaya art, curved shape, similar to a junk ship, with a Dharmachakra decorating the window arches around the Ubosot. Inside is the principal Buddha image in the first sermon posture with hanging feet.
🏞Stalactite cave Enshrining the sacred ancient Buddha image of Nakhon Ratchasima, over 300 years old.
🙏 The royal monument of King Narai the Great in a standing position, enshrined in a Thai-style pavilion made of brick and mortar.
