Wat Cheng Len, Tha It Subdistrict, Nonthaburi
It was built since the middle Ayutthaya period. It was originally located in Samsen District, Bangkok. Later, it was moved to the west bank of the Chao Phraya River in Tha It Subdistrict, Nonthaburi Province. At one point, there were no monks residing there, so it became an abandoned temple. Originally, it was located on the edge of a pond with muddy soil. Villagers therefore called it Wat Cheng Len. Until 1907, Mr. Aiem Amdaeng and Mrs. Phon Amdaeng donated land to renovate the temple from an ancient hut to a hip roof hut. They received a donation to support the temple on an area of 16 rai from the Numthai family. Until it received the royal charter of the boundary of the temple on April 1, 1913 from King Rama VI (Rama VI), a total of 113 years until today.
