@LoveChiangMai Cooking School We enjoyed a private cooking lesson hosted by Aoi at her cooking school. If you have the time and love cooking, this is simply a must do when you’re in Chiang Mai. It was very memorable. We opted for the Chiang Mai Northern Thai Lanna Cooking Experience. For the Lanna cuisine, we got to select 3 main dishes and 1 dessert. We selected Sai Aou - Chiang Mai Sausage, Koaw Soi - Chiang Mai Noodles, "Kaeng Hung Lay" - Pork belly Burmese style curry and for dessert, Kanom Wong - Chiang Mai Donut. Our experience started with Aoi greeting us at the hotel, then we went ingredient shopping at the local market (purchase of ingredients included in the tour), before heading to her cooking school and her organic garden. We learnt how to make all the dishes from scratch - even how to fill the sausage by hand! It was almost a full day experience as each cooking session took about 6-7 hours. Located in the hill surrounded by lush and serene landscapes, Veranda High Resort by MGallery offers a serene and peaceful setting for relaxing. It is takes approximately 30 minutes from the old town and we booked a private car prior to arrival. As the resort is quite big, there is a free buggy to get around. However, we really loved the setting and walking around is a better choice. Our room fronted the paddy fields within the resort and the room itself was spacious and clean. Vanilla hill by hill lodge โจทย์ในการหาที่พักนอกเมืองเชียงใหม่ของเราในทริปล่าสุด คืออยากได้ที่พักที่อยู่ท่ามกลางธรรมชาติ พักได้หลายคน และถ้าแบ่งห้องเป็นสัดส่วนได้ก็จะดี เดินทางไม่ลำบากเพราะช่วงที่เราไปคือฤดูฝน และที่สำคัญคือราคาต้องไม่แรงจนเกินไป สุดท้าย Vanilla hill by hill lodge ก็ตอบโจทย์ทั้งหมดที่ว่ามา เพราะใช้เวลาเดินทางจากตัวเมืองเชียงใหม่ประมาณ 1 ชม. ถนนก็ค่อนข้างดีถึงแม้จะเป็นถนนสองเลนที่ต้องขับขึ้นเขา ลักษณะของที่พักซึ่งเป็นบ้านสวยกลางป่า มีหลากหลายขนาดให้ได้เลือกจอง และมีความเป็นส่วนตัวสูงเพราะมีบ้านพักเพียงแค่ 6 หลังเท่านั้น ข้อควรระวังอย่างนึงคือที่พักต้องเดินขึ้นบันได้สูงหลายขั้น อาจไม่เหมาะกับผู้สูงอายุเท่าไรนัก วิลล่าของเรา คือ บ้านบุญนาค เป็นวิลล่า 3 ห้องนอน 3 ห้องน้ำ พื้นที่บ้านพักทั้งหมด 110 ตร.ม. สามารถเข้าพักได้มากสุด 7 คน (เตียงเสริม 1 เตียง) บอกเลยว่าที่นี่ตอบโจทย์สายครอบครัว หรือกลุ่มเพื่อนที่มาเที่ยวด้วยกันได้เป็นอย่างดี ภายในบ้านแบ่งเป็นห้องนั่งเล่นขนาดใหญ่ มีระเบียงด้านนอกให้ออกไปนั่งชมวิว รับลม ดูดาวตอนกลางคืนได้ และมีห้อง Master bedroom ที่มีห้องน้ำซึ่งมีอ่างอาบน้ำให้ด้วย 1 ห้อง และห้องนอนเล็กที่มีห้องน้ำในตัวทั้งคู่อีก 2 ห้อง ในราคาพันบาทนิดๆ ต่อคนเท่านั้น (รวมอาหารเช้าแล้วนะ) ซึ่งอาหารเช้าทางโรงแรมจะมีใบให้เลือกตั้งแต่ check-in สามารถเลือก main dish ได้ 1 จาน ระหว่าง ABF กับข้าวต้มเครื่อง และมีชอยส์อื่นๆ เพิ่มเติมทั้งขนมปัง ครัวซองต์ ผลไม้ ชา กาแฟ น้ำผลไม้ต่างๆ #เที่ยวเชียงใหม่

The surrounding atmosphere is a beautiful green garden, contrasting with various flowers. There is a stream flowing through the resort from the front to the accommodation area, giving a very natural feel. The Barn House style building has a beautiful shape. The interior has a high ceiling, is open and airy, and opens to natural light. Looking from the outside, it looks beautiful, warm, and fits in with the natural atmosphere. 🦋🌳 Our room was the Horizon Executive Room, a large room with a high ceiling, spacious, with a perfect proportion of the room, bathroom, and outdoor balcony. Behind the room, there was a stream flowing through, listening to the sound of flowing water, and enjoying nature. 🏞 The resort's saltwater pool is also great. It is under the shade of a large tree, so you can swim all the time without getting hot. You can see the stream and the wide lawn. We really like this corner. We get to sit and listen to the sounds of nature, peaceful and relaxing. 🌿 Other activities include a picnic set by the stream, cycling in the garden, and finding beautiful photo spots. 🍪🫖 Chiang Mai is a place you can visit anytime. We visited the Green Season and it was great and very impressive.
