Wat Ban De
Wat Ban Den Sari Si Mueang Kaen is a beautiful temple built in the applied Lanna style. It stands out on a small hill and can be seen from afar. Under the hill is a sacred cave that the locals respect and call “Wak Ban Den.” This temple is exquisitely beautiful with Lanna Thai architecture. The concept is to make it a place for mental relaxation rather than religious ceremonies. Therefore, it is a wise strategy to make the temple beautiful in order to attract people to the temple to see the beauty that is embedded with moral principles. It is a way to draw people of this era closer to religion and absorb the teachings of the Lord Buddha, while also visiting this Buddhist site. It is also a place to pay homage to the relics of the 12 zodiac signs. Inside Wat Ban Den Sari Si Mueang Kaen are the Ubosot, Ho Trai, Drum Tower, Sao Inthakhil Wihan, golden teak wood Lanna-style huts, Vihara, and Stupa Pagoda by Khru Ba Chao Theung Nathasilo (Phra Khru Paisarn Phatthanakowit), Wat Hua Kong, Tambon Khua Mung, Amphoe Saraphi, Chiang Mai Province, who was invited by Khru Ba Chai Ya, Wat Pa Pong, Amphoe Doi Saket, Chiang Mai Province. He has been the chairman of the construction of all religious buildings and properties in the temple up until the present. Because he is a monk with a worthy conduct of worship, even though he is not very old, he has received faith from people in general who have donated money to build a beautiful and grand religious building that has become well-known to people from all directions in a short time. Wat Ban Den has a famous monk, namely, Khru Ba Thuang Nathsilo.
